If someone played the demo and can tell if have similar thing than BOTN >< could like to know, for now i added at my long list of many games to check & play

I played the demo 2years ago, found it rather ugly, awkward, and not inspiring. So I deleted it.
Now, looking at the screenshots, I guess I've played it on the lowest graphic settings, but the player character does not seem well designed anyways.
At least, in BotN everything and everyone looks pretty!

Question of taste I guess. The BotN character model and the WI one have entirely different aesthetics, BotN model & world space is highly polished and more comic-like, WI model & world space is admittedly a little outdated & looks more rugged, closer to something out of the Fallouts from part 3 onwards (and FO is one of my fav franchises ever^^). Guess that's why I like the WI style. I don't mind a less polished look in the visuals & graphics, if the game plays & feels nice for me.

Which WI does, and it's game design goes more towards an actual fantasy role playing game than a breeding sim. It has some actual quests (even if they are simple for now) and interaction with NPCs & the game world beyond mere beasty breeding. There's at least a hint of a storyline there, you can craft & build stuff, explore the setting, interact with the world and find some hidden treasure etc. Even ride the one dragon in the game, flying over that island^^.

All things I sorely miss in Breeders of the Neph. But then it's not designed to be an RPG like WI is, story is and never was the main point here. Itz about breeding these crazy creatures into even crazier beasts (hybrids) and enjoying the scenery. The whole premise of Breeders is that Nephelym mindset, "make love, not war", right^^?! So you can't really compare the two on that level I think, woulnd't be fair to judge one against the other. Iffen I want some violent beasty action I go play WI, if I want something less stressful, i play BotN. Matter of fact, gonna try the latest BotN build from february right now, see iffen or what's new.

I'm just glad I found both these little gems, only sad I can't have them "officially" via steam.

Hy guys. Something went terrbily wrong. I loaded my save file and there is no wild nephs in the map. My clothes also bugged. Any suggestions or solutions?

Yeeeah, right. But iffen you're capable of kinky-ing up Skyrim properly, you gotta have some serious experience with the process of modding Bethesda games. A task that is nigh impossible for a casual gamer with zero modding know-how. Unless you know a place that has NSFW mod packages you can just-one click install. I agree 100% with your premise though, a modded Skyrim or Fallout 4 has a lot more "kink potential" with the right mod setup.

But I remember well my first semi-Luddite foray into modding FO4 with ModOrganizer2 (cuz Vortex=Useless POS), I already failed installing that thing right so it would eat the mods from Nexus. Took me a week to figure that out already. And getting the prerequisite mods for a working AAF setup was another hassle. AAF=Alternate Anim Framework, which is what enables all the kink & smut animations; dunno if itz the same framework they used for Skyrim, I only ever modded FO4 with it.
Half those mods you need don't live on the web no more, at least not the versions described in Dagobah's (the AAF creator) load order guide, so not only do you need the modding skills, you also need to know where to look for old, outdated mods that still sit on that load order list, or which mods to pick to replace em.

I want to mention the body slider in addition to what you said. It's all of that, and more! If you have custom bones and animations, you need to rig the physics onto them. I don't know how to do that shit! Bouncy boobs may appear if you have certain clothes on, or you have to rig not only the clothes, but the other crap-

It's a complicated mess.

E-even if you have an all-in-one pack, you still need to fiddle with the thing, and other stuff to make it work.

I managed to get BotNTools to edit the Nymphomaniac trait properly. It's listed as "Nymphomania" in the game files, so I edited the lists.json file where it said "Nymphomaniac" and cut the c from the end. Works perfectly now.

Dude, literally a lifesaver. Just messed around with BotNTools the first time today, and nearly went biting-my-desk nuts cuz nympho trait wouln'd take. Then I browsed through here and saw your post. Awesome, thanks man! And that valuable tid-bit of information should be pinned.

It's a complicated mess.

Which is why I wouldn't even dream of touching that sort of thing. Trying my hand on that complex sorta thing like 3D graphics, yeah...probaly a sure-fire way to thoroughly frustrate my semi-Luddite self. You got my deepest respect for even trying to make your own sh*t. I'm just happy if I can edit my mods to my liking.

Anyway, all this talk has me giddy about giving Fallout 4 & Human Resources (fav slaver mod) another go, but I am so not keen on spending all that time & nerves. Thanks a lot for making me long for the good ol days now, when my FO4 setup was perfectly fine-tuned and every day brought cute new raiderette slaves to my Sanctuary brothel.

What I wanna know is: How would I go about transfering only one particular detail, like cow horns or a horse c*ck, to a species that don't have it? Is it possible, if yes: How exactly? And step-by-step, please, semi-Luddite in action here

Unfortunately the only way to gain XP in BotN is by breeding, and there's no charts for it. The max level is 100.

There is no real way to transfer individual details through Creator Mode. It's meant for creating presets that you can find on wild Nephylems.

There was a Cheat Engine table a long time ago that could set the number to 250, but going any higher would cause other issues. I'm not sure how to do that change and BotNTools is not capable of it either.

If you tried loading a save that's from an earlier version of the game this is a known issue. There's a flag the developer has set that causes this.

Right, I was looking for a good game like this... but the reviews have me wary. I also saw Wicked Island, have it downloaded, but am also unsure of whether I want to get into it, it seems early in development and this one seems to have things being put behind walls of grind, which is unpleasant. Is there a game anyone can recommend that is like this, and Wicked Island, but... well, not AS flawed?

I second that. Carnal Instinct is the most polished of the three at this point, but the demo only has about 4-5 hours playtime tops, then you doned all quests & seen all the smut it currently has. That is another title I would be willing to pay good money for on steam, but again - itz blocked over here. Fark censorship. I would also throw in a pinch of Wicked Island, for the crafting and building part, that none of the others got.

Alrighty, I just tested v.058 vs v.059, .059 has one serious shortcuming - sorry for the pun - the ejac anim is missing in most scenes. Chars still get splattered, but the stains just appear out of nowhere. Iffen you're irked by this kinda glitch, stick with v.058.

And I gotta gameplay question:

How do ability scores and their ranks correspond on my breeder stat sheet? I did level her up to lvl 35, mostly with BotNTools, and shes got Lust 25 / Fertility 25 / Aptitude 21, and the ranks is 2/2/1 (or D/D/E in-game). It went up from 1 to 2 around score 15-16 for the former two, why not for aptitude as well? And just checked saves from my very first go around on v.053, without any meddling with BotNTools, I got to lvl 39, my scores were 23/23/23 with ranks 1/1/1. What gives?

What other values influence these ranks? Would prefer to finally understand the XP & level-up concept instead of bumbling around, wondering what's up? Seems unneccesarily convoluted tbh.

And on another note: I found that "Diminiutive" & "Enlarged" traits are not accessible with BotNTools. Can I just add these to lists.json file and be done with it, or do they need to be referenced anywhere else?

Breeder Level for what i saw really dont care much about breeding, breeder increase stats like lust, but havent traits unless you add them with BotNTools, so imagine get a level 100 breeder, but with no traits and you try breed with a Neph legendary, you will not get a legendary Neph, prob will get a common and very rarely get better than this.
