(Sorry if this has already been asked) The range of colors for the offspring seems to be a dice roll between what is already found in the wild rather than an inherited characteristic from the parents. Was this always the case? Say for example I'd like an Elf with the skin color palette of a Seraphim (by cross breeding the two). If the offspring is an elf, I am getting only the original color template from what's available for elves in the wild, rather than the included color range from Seraphim. I don't think I had installed any mods either

You don't need a male when futas exist, hence why the only male npc that was in this game was removed early during development.

2. Not true in the least. As long as you have a male period, you've hit the requirement for a breeding game. There are female only races and male only races in tons of fantasy media. If it makes no sense, that's a personal limitation of one's imagination. And you can give ANY in-game lore as to why there are no males/females for certain races that usually do have male and female counterparts.

This game provides a huge scope for creativity. You can invent various mini games involving random sex between vagabonds. You can play it as a harem sim, or as a sandbox where you are just a watcher, and so on.

I'd recommend you to try the mode where there is one female vagabond and 6 male vagabonds (let's call it SnowWhite and the Six Nephs) to watch their affairs and see which male becomes the champion by making the most babies, and which one only gets the sloppy seconds.
In this case, you need as many different male nephs as possible, while futas would spoil the game, because they'd screw each other instead of gangbanging the Chosen One aka Snow White.

And what's stopping those modders from just making mods anyway? Dev made it so you can't mod easily, but that can be fixed. Might not be easy or a quick solution, but it's definitely possible. Just do the one thing that oh so many people have a hard time doing "Keep it within that community". The moment someone make mods, best believe some dumbass is gonna post screenshots or ask about it on Steam.
