I've heard that's a bug some people are experiencing, but I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it. Derelict is aware of it.
Well, yes, but actually no.
If you softlocked your save, even if you use said save on a patched version you'll still get some issues, like not being able to open anything, only fix is starting a new game.
It can be softlocked so far as not wanting to steal the Mega Slime's gate ball.
The problem is that Pleasure Pastures and Hivelands rely on each other for progressing, so if you have one but not the other, and the only gate ball left is the Slime's, there's no way to not steal it and progress.
I've been told that there is another keystone out there you can get without stealing the Slime's.

You have to open it from the other side. Get into the caves by freeing the stuck lamia, and then get into the glade from the caves.

Not sure about the new gatekeeper shit, spent like an hour and a half trying to get a well-endowed futa for the centaur. Really glad they included the imma lazy sack cheat, I'm here to nut, not to grind.

Nope, it's just a lever next to the gate that you can smack. You need a keystone to get from the caves to the glade, though.

Is there any use for Goddess Essence after buying all the sex positions or is he working on some sort of new use for them?
As far as I know, there's no use for them after that. I don't know if he's planning a new use for them at some point, but it seems possible.
