Allegedly the main artist left the project long ago, so only the programmer/main owner is still tweaking it with bug fixes/minor changes sometimes. Is a shame, this game would be even better with more variants and types. So no, I guess technically not abandoned or on hold.. just not ideal updates

Also I had thought this was a single person dev to begin with? I think this used to be a dev from...Breeding Season? Maybe not the right game, but some crap happened, and he wanted to strike it out on his own with BoTN.

Pretty sure you're talking about Cloud Meadow, not BotN. I'm pretty sure this was around even back in the days before Breeding Season fell apart.
This is looking dated af and there is garbage tentacles everywhere. Walking and idle animartions are MUCH stiffer then I remembered. If this is going to be good then scrap this project and start out with better tech, and this time make sandbox stuff instead of crappy story and NPC. Don't mind the weebs who say they want story, they don't actually know what they want. And they will probably pay either way. Or just keep millking the dummies as you probably will idc. Honestly if I was you, I'd do that lol. And lmao at that I actually once subbed for this, it looked really good in 2019, and there's some neat improvements but also it's just gotten worse since then in many ways. Mods for VAM2 might be the new wave here

Yeeeaaahhh... that's not the counter. The counter is on the updates page. No one who is not checking this thread has seen this game in their feed for two years. I only came across this looking deep into a tag search and remembered, "Oh yeah... that game from a few years back..".

Huh, TIL the Updates page has a different counter which doesn't seem to pull info from the main thread. Not sure where it gets its date from.
The Updates page is wrong as you can see, so I'd just recommend looking at the actual thread for the real update dates as we've shown you. Not sure why the Updates page is wrong, wonder if other games have been affected too?

It would not surprise me if more were screwed up. And I can't be bothered to keep direct tabs on every game I take a level of interest in... I just use the updates feed to see what has gotten some love. Ahh well, I'll grab the latest while I'm here and hope the feed gets fixed someday.
