Imagine paying to support a game that has been in development for 7 years and still feels like it still in BETA.
Well, PoP sure is more of a game, but that's because it's pretty much a hybrid with a different genre. Which might be the right way to make these games.
I would say the same about Monster Black Market.

Gosh man... They aren't even comparable. Syvaron made an actual game and still develops it till this very day even though it could be considered a finished title. While this crap is barely an alpha release... But you know what is the most infuriating in all this? Syvaron still makes less on PoP than this fucker does on this bullshit! I think it's fine to stop counting other people's money. BotN in its current state is a reasonably solid porn game, with more porn and less game. While PoP is a good game, but doesn't have much in the way of porn, unless I am missing something."More of a game"

honestly for me its because PoP is a bit too dense for me to comfortably sink into. Its possibly gotten a bit more digestible since I last gave it a run like 2 years ago but when I'm in the mood to play a porn game, my brain usually isn't getting enough blood for deep strategic thinking."More of a game"

I don't see what could be contradictory about it. The first statement is a reponse to "only a gallery was added". The second to "only tweaking things" and being lazy. Changing engines is still a lot of work even if in the end it was not implemented into the main release.
If people want to support "doing essentially nothing" then they should be able to. Some people just like throwing money around.
I haven't and don't plan to financialy support any game not fully finished and/or in a full release state.
I have on the other hand no problem paying a bit more for the fully finished product though if it meets my expectations.
The main problem with early access (even if there is no money involved) is that expectations just get out of hand so easily.
That leads to pressure to implement more and more things. It's basically a feature and scope creep catalyst.
And the worst about it is the higher the expectations the worse the reaction to any delays or refusal to do something.
So you get the shitstorm for free as an added bonus.
But it's still a good way to get feedback and involvement of your potential player (customer) base.
I am well aware of the Dunning-Kruger effect and that is why I am very hesitant when making claims about how easy or complex something is and how much effort it takes to do it. I try not to assume someones intentions for similar reasons.
I understand the frustration as it would be really nice to have some more content to play with.
And I get the sunken cost fallacy because I myself fell for it many times.
But I also found out that I really should be mad about myself and not necessarily others first when making mistakes.
Sure it feels nice to vent but it doesn't solve anything and more importantly doesn't prevent me doing the exact same thing again. And speaking to those others usually just got a lot more awkward and difficult.
I've been following the development of this game since 2020. I liked and disliked many things done and not done in that time.
In the end it was always "good enough" for me not to voice those opinions and give feedback.
Of course man people are mad here I'm fucking losing my mind over this...
Nothing. This dev does nothing and gets payed more than many other lesser known devs who pour their very souls into their work, and do actually have something to show for it, while a game like this get exposure for no fucking reason AT ALL while having NOTHING to show for it. You understand why it is frustrating? I don't care about your yapping over early access or fallacies, this isn't the main point here. It's the fucking injustice that happens because of idiots like your very self overplay bullshit games everywhere man, not just here, even on fucking Steam. And nobody bets an eye until a crazy bloke like me runs in with a pitchfork and yells to everyone to go and FUCK THEMSELVES...

Even if it wasn't a porn game, Portals of Phereon is still on the top of complexity one normally sees in video games.
