you need to chill out there big guy. no one here is defending the dev, he's doing the bare minimum to keep his patreon active and avoid the abandoned f95 tag. it sucks. but it's a fact feature creep kills breeder type games even without a shitty dev. it's also a fact this game has more actual porn and actual breeder content than any other.
funny you quoted breeding season having more, are you serious? the most content it ever had was before their artstyle change and it was all 3 scene flash video loops of 1-2 seconds. after it was random hodgpodge and random "Event" scenes all while having next to no monsterxmonster or monsterxbreeder interaction animations.

Okay, okay I admit that I might've exaggerated a bit with saying it has half as much, yeah I guess it has MAYBE about as much, though that is up for debate. That still is not a good outlook regardless... Also, please, I beg someone to explain to me how can "feature creep" be an issue in a game WHICH IS NOT EVEN FUCKING FEATURE COMPLETE??? LIKE DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT FEATURE CREEP EVEN MEANS? HOW? You have to be completely clueless to think the main problem with these sorts of games is feature creep. I mean we have been just talking about THE PERFECT FUCKING COUNTER example to this. PORTALS OF FUCKING PHEREON. In DerelictHelmsman's game you literally already have all the assets present you just need to build AN ACTUAL GAME around it instead of a fucking alpha level grindfest which it currently is. But he realized WHY EVEN GIVE A FUCK when my little white knights will protect me with the power of FUCKING FEATURE CREEP and pay me big money for doing JACK SHIT. GOOOOOOOOOOOOD YOU PEOPLE!!!

Save it the files in a different folder before try the last version for get them as backup in case not
Last time Steam version got an update was in February, to version 0.761.4.
I guess it will get a new update when the author rolls out 0.762.something.
You can check the change log in the original post. The latest change is introduction of clothes which you can buy from a new merchant.

Rarely, but it does. Only when DH bothers to push versions out to Steam. Usually it's version updates not bugfixes, tweaks and minor additions that get pushed. So don't expect to see any further updates to this via Steam until version 0.77.0 (or above) gets released and then wait another couple of weeks for it to get pushed to Steam.
But there does exist a sneaky workarround:
Download the version here and delete the contents of steamapps\common\Breeders of the Nephelym Alpha.
Then unzip the downloaded archive into that now empty folder.
Steam can't force you to downgrade. It'll load just fine.

and clothesHairstyles ? nope, more scenes? nope, fly mode with some species? i guess not, i guess same big map with mostly emptyness and run KMs for each point , a map radar or something or a visual for see wilds stats could be nice, but bruh

And just where does the dev branch build come from? There's nothing on Steam about this so as far as I'm concerned, my method is the most accessible way of having Steam load a newer version than it should.

Largely similar to the way I do it then. Except I always delete and replace to minimise the possibility of bugs.

I'm betting my shitty save editor still works, considering how small the update is
