Stop crying for god's sake. It's not hard to spend the 3 days you've been kicking the bucket.

You can get the same in no time.
Even if you want to farm or look to have "good kids", get them pregnant, sleep 3 days and they're done, it only takes like less than 5 minutes.

The old stuff and the new stuff are different. You can't bring with you a game from a long time ago and want to play without producing a bug with the current game.

You can search for various game developers on the site.

Some of them have no problem with you using the old games, up to a certain point. Because the current ones still have visual errors... but other than that there is no problem. All games that are in update, usually trust their players not to try to open an old game because of compatibility problems.
Even others say "If you play an old savegame, you may have problems with the game".

ver. 760.6. It was the version where they added more inheritance of traits to different sons/daughters, if the Mother/Futa has a trait III but the father Male/Futa does not have, the product will have the trait level I.

The trait "Grungy", you get it with the harpies. It was a debuff, it lowered many of your stats.

Dude you just posted two screenshots and those alone already tells me more of the way you play than the entire pseudo justification you tried to give. Let me be very clear. I find it stupid beyond normal when somone goes with their nephs like "randomite's offspring's offspring offspring offspring the to the infinity and beyondth" since that already tells me you skip half, if not all of the sex interactions IN A GODDAM PORN GAME. Which is a point a lot of you guys keep missing. We dont play a fukin porn game WITH BREEDING to see the stonks numbers rise like if youre building a fukin redstone contraption to them AFK for hours letting it autowork for you. If I wanna create X or Y neph I want it to matter, not to be a random reroll with no meaning at all. Cause if that's what Im after. I play on the creator mode to test the animations and maybe see a possible neph the would be created out of that pairing. Which bring us to the first problem. BotN pretty much only excels on the latter, never the former.

Again, U still sound like if I plan to update an ancient save to a new one when the version update Im jumping into is barely a pair of hotfixes ahead. Funny that you mention other devs' attitudes towards saves compatibility being that Derelict is the only that forces you to start from scratch. And no one else developed a game thats so insanely grindy in nature compared to BotN. EVEN USING CHEATS. I played a lot of tittles, both modded into become lewdy and others designed as lewd omes from scratch and BotN is the only that I remember rhat refuses to load old saves.

The reason I insisted so much on lack of modding and problems with save wipes are precisely tied to both the grind this game naturally have and the stupidity of the dev to allow players load old saves even if they fukin break. Cause Im sorry, even if he doesnt wanma troubleshoot possible old saves loading and breaking things, its still a lazy AF move to pull that again, I only saw Derelict doing. Cause he also shown zero interest in addressimg this very issue since before I started playing, all the way the fuk back in version 0723 when the day light cycles were added.

Also can we address as well the fact that a lot of us didnt knew how the male seraphims or titans were in the game but them got deleted cause Derelict went full anti-males content but not quite far enought to not keep the game a "just gals" club? Among many other crappy moves like locking previously available content from minute 1 like the sex positions to then having to "unlock" them. I get it doing that woth new races and its even a fun reason to explore the map for, BUT WITH SOMETHING LIKE THE FUKING DRAGONS? Dude, every playthrough I did I almost by the start with no extra quests other than unlocking the spirit form to patch the money gap between what you start with and what you neeeed for it, I went straight to catch dragons and that took me barely a few minutes, catching the first futa foxem I got, selling some fluids, messing with fern a bit and boom. Time to hunt dragons. But even if I couldnt capture them right at the start, I could still fuck with them. Now I meed to find a Wolfuta Scharzeneger on level 4 to give it to the dumb centaur maidem so I can unlock that area to that. Which I didnt fukin had to some versions ago.

Derelict has been making the game worse each update, by going the "1 nice adition vs 10 new inconveniences" each time. So in the end I keep asking myself, why spend time on this game to have my progress being basically frozen a few updates later and instead play something better like Palworld with mods or even continue on my samdbox maps in goddam Wild Life? Where I can build Night fukin City in it if I wanted and the map will load perfectly if I load it on a mew version of it. Amd before you say Wild Life is team made and BotN isnt, BotN IS team made. Is just that Derelict would stab himself on the neck before admiting it but just ask Drages if Im wrong about it. Its crazy how fanboyism blinds people to such levels.

I agree with most of what you said, but just need to point out one little thing for the sake of fairness.
Other devs making old saves unplayable depends on the content. If it's a bug fix or minor changes, you can use old saves. But when they make major changes, a good number of game dev will tell you to start over or the old save file can cause errors. I've personally seen this with: Princess & Conquest, Welcum to the city, Kamesutra, Cloud Meadow and some other games so it's not a Derelict exclusive thing.

However, also for the sake of fairness...I've never seen the need to make a new save for minor changes as much as BotN. Subtracting traits could cause problems, but changing how a trait works, adding traits or changing the icon shouldn't. UI changes also shouldn't corrupt save files. And for as grindy as this game is, fixing the save problem should be a must do.

you can't change at all the language, it hasn't been implanted to the game, even if you select Spanish, French, or any other language, the game stay in English

I imagine, you must be incredibly specific for it to work, like, "careful what you wish for --Monkeys Paw--" sort of deal. Might be an exaggeration.

If it is one thing computers can do flawlessly that humans at times have trouble with, it would have to be logic. Logistics are the foundations of computing.
Art might not be it's forte, but something that requires an area of black and white focus would suit it perfectly.

Specially when the absurdity of saving the game on version 0.2 and loading it on version 0.3 doesn't work. But saving it on version 0.3 DOES load on 0.2.

It will improve somewhat unlike art the result is binary
It either runs well or it doesn't run at all
I do believe the code one day will be pretty good with an ok programmer fixing some mistakes

Combine everything, release. Increase the level of essence, sometimes you will find "Rares" with some trait at level 3.


If you are too lazy to wait in the game for them to have children. Take the easiest option, go home and sleep 3-4 times, they will already be born.

Be careful that now for the versions, incest is not allowed.

Ive been trying to figure out how to get botn tools to work for a while. It doesnt seem to change anything? I have version 0.10 but changing individual creatures and then saving does nothing in game, and if i reload the save in the editor my changes disappear. I have tried multiple creatures, traits, and different save files. I even deleted all saves except one to remove that potential mix up. Batch edit also doesnt work. The editor detects changes in the save folder, as does the game, so i know the folder is right, but the editor just isnt changing anything

All changes are made with the game closed, i have game version 761.52 i think? Got it from the first page a few days ago.
