It's still the exact same. Like you're quite literally not missing anything. This recent update added traits to the breeder, that's probably the highlight.

How can I transfer my save to the new version?
Assuming it hasn't been changed since last I played, you can't. Save files are tied to their version and you have to start a new game every update. In my opinion, my updates barely add anything, and so it's just not worth updating at all.

Not exactly true. Save files can usually work with the next update. Its only when there are serious enough changes made that the save file no longer works. Someone said on the previous page that older save files work with this new update so no one has to make new saves this time.

modding a half done game kills the original vibe of the game. you cant take half an idea and bastardize the hell out of it and expect better results.
I disagree to an extreme degree. Ideas are meant to be expanded upon in all sense of the word.
How much those mods diverge from the base idea will be are up to the individual modders and -most importantly- you, the person downloading those mods. You're not forced to download or use any mods for any game.
For example, you could play Skyrim with only mods that expands on the base game with more spells, enemies and areas while keeping true to the original idea... or you could replace all dragons with Thomas the Tank Engine while turning every major city into a wanton hub of desires. Ultimately, it's up to the player to decide.
if these modders can come up with thier own ideas there would be more games...
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I find this argument a bit odd given how this very forum is about a game that expands upon the core idea of Breeding Season. It's pretty impossible to know whether devs would have made mods instead of their own games -living up to the Breeding Season curse every single time- if the previously mentioned game was finished in the first place.
But to give another example, the video game The Forgotten City was originally just a mod for Skyrim but its devs improved on it so much that it grew into its own game. You never know if that would have been possible if not for modding, or how many devs started out by just modding their favorite games.

I’ve been following this project since the very beginning. After all this time, the game still doesn’t feel like it has a clear, finalized direction.

This game should heavily focus on first-person content and on how character interactions are presented from that perspective: poses, animations, proximity, and physicality between characters. That is where the real strength and appeal of this project lies. I know that the creator ruled out POV view, but this is a HUGE mistake.

Right now, a lot of what’s being added feels like “smoke and mirrors” — an attempt to create the impression of content rather than actually expanding what the game is fundamentally about. Let’s be honest: most of the community knows exactly why we’re here. Adding side features or gimmicky mechanics instead of deepening the core experience only makes the project feel unfocused and, frankly, less interesting over time.

It also feels like meaningful content additions have stalled. We haven’t seen new races in a long time, and the hybrid system — which has huge potential — hasn’t been expanded either. New races naturally allow for new hybrid variants, and expanding this system would add far more replayability and depth than many of the current additions.

Finally, I strongly believe this project has enormous potential in VR. Yes, it’s a significant amount of work — but much of the foundational material already exists. Translating it into VR could elevate the entire project to a new level.

I’m saying all of this because the potential here is still massive. But it really needs a clear focus, commitment to the core fantasy, and fewer distractions from what made people interested in the first place.

I sincerely hope the creator will at least partially read this comment and consider the points I’ve raised. You can rock, but you’re not doing it.

can't get the incest patch or immadegenert to work
if you have win 11, go to the folder with obf.exe and right click in it. use open in terminal and the second method of inputting imma.degenerate listed earlier. the file extension that the folder lists must say degenerate file for it to work

if you're not using steam.

also to enter cheats, hit the ` key.

This update is already available on Steam for subscribers. This is an Early Access version, so you'll have to wait until the Public version is released.
