Here's the title translated, courtesy of VNDB:why is the japanese title so long for it to be just called "Breeding Village" lmao
If you visit E-Hentai at all, you might be thinking of [Kai Hiroyuki] My Mountain Village Pregnancy Diary.i think i've read something like this before

Its a marketing move. There are thousands of eroges on the shelves and sites and you usually dont get an idea of what the game is unless the cover is overly explicit (Like you see fat man hugging cute girl and you know its NTR) so what they do is basically describe what the game is about so you can make a quick assesment of what the game is about so in this case breeding village is not descriptive enough (Does the MC breed them? they get raped and breed forcefully? Are they sluts getting knocked up by monsters?) while "Breeding Village! Go impregnate a bunch of wives because you are an stud in a country with few virile males! This is your harem breeding village!" tells you exactly what is about and makes it more likely to get noticed and sell. Here's the title translated, courtesy of VNDB:
Welcome to Village of Insemination ~Ideal Slow Life with Free Mating Sex Anywhere Anytime~
Japanese studios seem to favor long descriptive titles like that, for some reason.
Thanks for the explanation. I'd assumed it was something to do with the language and being able to fit entire words into a single character. Turns out it's much more pragmatic than that. (the Japanese name on vndb looks just as painfully long)Its a marketing move. Yeah, the market is just too saturated so the devs have to find a way to stand out or catch your attention when "window shopping". Tags as of late are pretty important too so its also on their interest to tag it well so it can be easily found. Thanks for the explanation.
