Yeah, the market is just too saturated so the devs have to find a way to stand out or catch your attention when "window shopping". Tags as of late are pretty important too so its also on their interest to tag it well so it can be easily found.
Though i do suspect some others do it for the heck of it since even companies with brand recognition employ it.

Censorship laws in Japan are draconian and insulting. 200 years ago it was a different story, but not with the people but with each of the prefecture leaders...the only people who can get this turgid censorship removed are the general public, this is not 17/18th century fudal Japan anymore after all lol.
