Well, I have a few things to stay about this game. First of all, its real great! The Models and The story (meh, but its decent). But I just sometimes find the Dialogue annoying due to the "haha"s and some of the choices. Overall, its all very decent. Just need to maybe update more or make the dialogue... less, cringy, I guess. I just wanted to give my quick personal opinion on the game, if you dont mind.

For the record I agree, I am not a writer, and the skills for writing dialogues, scenes cant be improved in few months it needs lots of practice, The dialogues in early stages are really bad but thanks to my co-writer he makes them feel more normal. This is the reason I don't do romance genre, I will try doing something in the future, but you know it's my first game and I love rendering. Writing is the most boring shit for me, but one cannot exist without the other and still, I think the story is quite decent for a porn game. And still I really appreciate the feedback, it helps to keep my ego at a normal level, the loving post are awesome, but the criticism takes me back to the real-world where I still need to improve lots of things. I can't say something really will change in the future, cuz I think the style of writing should stay from start to finish. But these are good tips that I can carry on to next projects

Actually even if by your own admission you are not a great writer, you did came up with a great setup and framework for a story that can easily carry a great game, so glad you found a writer to help out. To be honest my biggest disappointment is that you used this for your learning game, since I do like it and would have loved seeing you do this game with more experience already.

Well this game has a secret that I will reveal after I finish it . I already know another game I am going to do and a secondary game that I make while writing the story for the main game. The second huge game I hope will go with the big dogs the secondary is just keeping patreons busy while I write the story and the dialogs for the new main project ;D The secondary game is going to be short and stupid, but I think some people will like it some won't, It will be used more on polishing my animation skills and trying new styles.

Just one remark about love and romance, those do not have to be all handholding and mushy either per se or vanilla. Especially when bit older love can be more in the little kindnesses, a meaningful kiss or hug, watching tv with her head on your shoulder as in the big poems, way too expensive dates or shouting from a tower you love someone. Also loving does not preclude rough consensual sex or even BDSM if you would be into that as a couple.

If aim to emulate anyone right now I would more aim for someone like Phillygames if I were you.

Well it's hard to match him , he is one of the titans over here. But yeah I agree and about dating my daughter dev did everything right, just that it should have ended in my opinion, now it feels more like high-paying patreons fantasy game.

As someone who plays these games regularly in between all my other projects as a escape, if there is too much dialog, I bail on the game. If there isn't enough, I move onto the next one until the other one has more releases out. So, it can be a balancing act or a juggling one.

With Bright Lord, I saw the potential right away when I played the Demo release.
This was my take away after playing it:

Pros:
1. Beautiful models.
2. Visually fresh.
3. Great addition to the VN porn games.
4. Horror genre made it a bit more interesting.

Cons:
1. Not enough dialog.
2. Story felt rushed.
3. Not enough interaction between characters to get me emotionally committed to them.
4. Too many errors and spelling mistakes etc.

I had been looking to volunteer my services to for a while to a new Dev/Game, and this was that game came out
at the right time.. Just when I was going on vacation.
I knew that if the Dev and I gelled we could really really help each other out. I learn about making these games
from him, and he gets my service for a year as a volunteer, or until the game is completed.

I do love the characters in the game. Otherwise, I wouldn't have helped out here.

Hopefully, you guys feel the love too and support our work.

yeah it wont be really advance just that at some point of the game you will need to choose which one you take and the story unfolds in the path you have chosen.

I'm playing now and I have the scene where bright lord first showed up and with Chloe I have two choices: resit or obey and get a bj from Chloe. Even though it would be nice to get bj, resist is probably leading to 'love' path so I will definitely pick that choice.

Well there is some ppl who say choices doesn't matter, but like there is literally only a few games in this world where they actually do something and one of them is triple AAA studios Detroit become human. Thats it nobody makes games that choices really make a lot of difference. And i am really impressed how some ppl think that the 100 euros budged dev can make something that a huge studio can do . And like i see ppl bashing dream of desire, cuz choices doesn't matter. bitch please midnight paradise has fewer choices than Dreams of desire the only thing Midnight paradise has an open world that is pretty much dead and just wastes your time. But ppl like it cuz they think its somewhat different from a slide show
