The english translation in the game seems to be somewhat misleading.
You have to call her twice. Walkthrough:" Ruby is interesting and interested. She works on Wednesdays and on weekends. So call her on any other day between 2pm and 7pm, then call her again on the next possible day."

No, she wants to be a rockstar, since the first release. The rest are jobs to achieve this goal. Ok, most don't care about story or history of a game - but this is just quite similar to the QSP-predecessor.

Ok, you need to change the security preferences to allow apps from outside the Mac Store to be started. Maybe the last paragraph of this official document helps:
You must be registered to see the links
- Goo will provide more details because Mac OS versions may differ in these features a little bit.

This error isn't supposed to happen in .55 so I assume you are using a savegame before 0.5. This is a tricky situation I cannot test myself. So maybe the old trick helps:
"Try to reach and open the wardrobe in Alex' room by repeatedly clicking "Ignore" inside the error message."

If this is not helping, you are doomed to
You must be registered to see the links
first, load your save into and try the same trick. It should work there. Then you save the game again in 0.5 and load it into 0.55.

On the other hand, the scene you are stuck is on day 3 of the walkthrough, so restarting from scratch may be more efficient ...
