as more kosmos is working on the game more bugs are appearing... it is like living at construction site where workers are coming to your apartment and moving your furniture bit by bit around and every time they left fundamental situation is worse than before. it's leaking from everywhere.

Use the phone to buy the laptop under electronics, make sure you have the money in the atm account.

Red light district is down the right hand street when it opens for you. You have to trigger that point during the game play.

For the laptop you need to get the news on the phone (top right button), which tells you about the new computer store. After that there should be a new contect on the phone which you could call to get the laptop (you need to have the money on your bank account!)

For the Red Quarters you've to unlock the "Old Factory" first, which happens during the main quest (the one with the green point which says "Explore the cafe" in your screenshot). After that there are at least two ways to unlock the Red Quarters, either by seeing an event on the busstop or by starting the anal training with barb...

To be honest the thing with Valerie makes sense to me. She is just about the only character in the game that has a relationship with Alex that goes beyond "hey lets fuck" besides her sister
