Did someone actually succeed in continuing from an old saved game? 'cause i couldn't.
i tried following the instructions (saving in the hall, transfering the saved games, then going to Alex' room and loading) but when i load the old save both the menus on the right and the values on top are gone, so i can't actually play... and i don't feel like starting from scratch again

Depends on how far back the save file is from. Saves from last update worked fine for me except for one traceback error when clicking on the phone but one quick console code add and it was fine.

There was already a post about it. It is a feature not a bug. You just need to go out. The new on-screen help will start there. All elements should be back after this. On the other hand, it is not the worst idea to play from scratch because the pace of the game has changed a bit and the player, for example, avoids some issues with the relationship variables.

ah... OK, thanks for answering. it took me so long to get to this point and finish all the content of version 15.2... i don't know if i feel like restarting

He did not give my anything, that's the problem....
I'm just stuck (after watching all the pornhubs) in a place that no one wants or can talk to me. I'll come back later for everyone.
Also i've met the other waitress in the restaurant, lend her money, earned money for a week but no payback. I'm just stuck in somesort of loop i guess and probably missed something
Yeah you need to buy a 400 dollar umbrella that's only sold at the clothing store in the mall. When it rains it doesn't rain all day, but there's no way to check if it's raining without going outside, which if it IS raining will soak your character and force you to have a bath again. Once you have the umbrella you're immune to rain and never have to think about it again. It's bad!

Yeah, it is not necessary, only for die-hard fans. The update itself is not big, it should be a fast playthrough.
Despite my complaints about the weather, this is a pretty good game. Usually life-sim games are super tedious, but with a couple exceptions this one moves at a good clip once you start making money, and I'm liking most of the characters (especially Barbara)

I agree with the above.
But what the dev can do i think is get rid of all those (or at least some of them) unfinished quests. Too many not finished like this makes it a bit difficult too understand them all and i think its better not having to scroll those lists. And sometimes its not really clear when what to do. I'm not saying there had to be a walkthrough, but perhaps some more tekstwise hints.
And the college rector is in the game for many updates now, but there is nothing really to do there. I guess i'm waiting for a call from the runner/savier for 8 updates now. What about a phonecall to the mother or sister? Or what about victorias sister?

Not so much a fan of the rain, i mean its a neat thing and not something you see in every game but not when someone is using the bathroom for an hour and you stuck at the front door, and also all stores are closed ? little wierd to
