I found the pastry very costly.
If I remember well, 200 for a one time boost.
Good perfumes cost more, but can be use several times.
Cheaper way: suntan at the quarry. Cost nothing except some time. You can suntan a few days in a row and the bonus will add up (I think I reached at least a +9). And if you are lucky, after going the earlier possible (11 A.M.), you may encounter Barbara at the quarry and can suntan with her a second time in the same day.

You have more charm in the casino because the uniform gives you more points than the street clothes (you can always click on the points to see a summary of everything).
Unfortunately, there are not many clothes that increase your charm easily, so you have to grind a bit.
Often you only have to do it once, for example I remember that to get the job in the casino Alex needed 65 charm and I had to use the solarium, but then you can have less than 65 and they let you work anyway
(although the hourly wage goes down if you have less charm).

With the cinema date, I found it completes when Ruby randomly suggests going to the cinema , instead of the MC choosing it.

Hello. I noticed my relationship level with Valerie is 175 and with Barbara, it's 92. I'm wondering if there is some advantage to increasing them any higher, or if it's a waste of time. Was also wondering if Ruby is the only female love interest. I can't find anything on either of these.

Yep. Dialogs are similar, but in Russian it's way more "taisty" so to speak. Maybe it's my imagination or it is because ru is my 1st lang who knows.

I play the version v0.99.2.5. Colleague above said that without cheats for money to play ==>"hardcore". I would say it's way faster. The old guide says that you need 5>= mood and if you play for the first time is unclear where to get it to get a job in a cafe, because with a starting index you will not be hired to work in a cafe. Beginners will understand my confusion. Perhaps not everyone likes the atmosphere of undiscovered, so I'll put a hint under the spoiler.

I'm not quite sure but maybe your Alex doesn't have enough charm. Use make up and perfume.

I wonder anyone else having issue opening the refrigerator. Everytime I do that I get error. I played many versions of this game during past times but I only get these problems during recent severl versions and it's really painful. Hope someone can figured out my problems please, really appreciated.

Few versions ago it was required to start a new game, because of some code changes and old saves would give all kind of bugs and errors. Are you using old saves?

I have started the game 3 times now, and when I get the courage up to trigger play basketball with the guys event, it will not trigger. I have sportswear and sneakers, but the only option it gives when I try to talk to Rudo is I'll come later. I also can't ask Rudo for help What am I missing to trigger these events?

You need to progress main story. After Alex asks Rudo to help her find night club or something like that, than option to play basket will apear. To ask for help you need to go at specific time(don't remember which time, but I think they're not at basketball court. So, when you see them elsewhere, go ask for help.
I can't find the vice reactor to start my teaching job.I somehow doubt you were able to fit in all the content of the last update in this timeframe.

That's just one part of the update. Yeah, there were bigger uodates in the past, but this kind of game (=open world) means work as well, which may not translate in direct gameplay for the players, but it has to be done for future additions of gameplay.
Of course everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion and any dev welcomes fair and true critique, but just typing an incomplete sentence isn't helping anyone. Worst case it could prevent future players from checking out the game, based on some flawed half-truth (shame on these people too
