i played the previos version and got stuck on two quests:
"keep practicing with falsetto" and
"meet the valerie's boyfriend"
the first one seems to be a common problem where there is a woman sitting next to falsetto (?) in the recording studio und you can't proceed the quest because the woman doesnt leave. and he has only "leave" as an option. i hoped that this would get fixed in the update but sadly i was mistaken. same as before. is there a fix or workaround by for example editing some files to skip to the next quest?
the second one baffles me. i read everywhere that i should go to the rockers bar and keep drinking. i done that so many times that my alex is now a heavy alcoholic. i tried many different variations of alcohol, went on many dates with the barkeeper but noting new happens. i just wake up in the alley with a head pain.
also: i just learned there is a photo studio in the beaty parlor? claire doesnt give me any option for it. how do i unlock it?
any suggestions?

As far as i can recall the Second one should be activated when you are at home (Barbara's house) after 21:00 and maybe it's need to be at the weekend as well? if that's not the case then it's possible that your quest log bugged away and showing you the wrong entry and the actual quest is something else... (just like Ruby's case)
The first one might have some time requirement like before 13:00 or something.
These are just my guesses, as the version changes the saves can be quite unstable, like now that i can't load the 1.002 saves in the 1.003 version without getting game crash exceptions by using the character notes from the right side.
If you used vocal cheat mod it will not trigger, the same with meet Valerie boyfriend weekend at 23:00 hrs
thanks i spent 3 days at home by forwarding 15mins and it finally triggered. thank you
this just leaves me with me photo studio and the main quest i guess
so basically even in my new unmodded version it won't work anymore and i bricked my game?
i used the cheat mod on the op
EDIT: thank you. i finally fixed it. i reversed any changes i made in the old version and the quest started.
