Well, I've sunk some time into things, gotten to the MC and Alice shopping and boy is it a mess.
Literally everything seems to be connected to a crime family, MC's mom likely got offed by the crime family MC's dad worked for early on, that same crime family seems to have a sick head honcho and what with Alice's grandfather also being supposedly sick and the schism between Alice's father and Tianna, wouldn't be surprised if they're involved with the same family aswell.

Not a fan of the childhood friend right now, given that she's some sort of tech genius she likely knows exactly what the MC's career has been like and knows that he won't give up on something, and now she's just actively sabotgaing for him.

Brie is pretty interesting, pretty sure her family somehow got impacted by the crime family aswell given how the game seems to be intertwining a LOT of different routes. She should probably also chill just a tad on the eyeshadow/eyeliner combo because my god it's darker than my future. I'm also half expecting Afina's abusive ex-boyfriend to be the same yokel who's now taking over the crime family. It'd only be fitting with how things are getting tied up.

I will say, overall really interesting and I'm looking forward to the next update.
Also I am a sucker for redheads, freckles and green eyes so Eveline is just not even remotely fair.

Yeah this is one of those games either you like how intertwined this game is or you find it annoying. I personally like it if the payoff is good when revelations happens cause im a sucker for reveals. About the Childhood friend yeah she is an engima for me she is someone I should straight up dislike but I can't and afraid for her as I get a feeling she is going to get arrested or hurt and I don't want either to happen. Tho I have a feeling her sabotaging is not really to stall the MC or the police but rather just to keep the bad guys from suspecting her. As I think she is waiting to make her move against them somehow. That and probably doesn't want the MC involved and risk him getting killed. Which is something I do not like. It feels to illogical for he to do everything alone when she can rely on him for help. Unless of course she actually turns out to be a bad guy later and just doesn't want him to get hurt but for now I get a feeling she isn't.

Yeah, I mean it did catch me offguard but I don't currently dislike how intertwined things are. There are a few games I've played that have done something similar and the dev seems to be doing a proper job of it aswell since most things are pretty straight-forward but it isn't necessarily outright told to the player so there's a bit of ambiguity and mystery about it nonetheless, which works.

As for the childhood friend, who knows, her perhaps waiting to make a move against them could be the reason but if that was the case, I don't see why she shouldn't have atleast tried to get help from her previous friend and also the best detective in the entire state that also is working on trying to bring the crime family down.
That and the sabotage are the main reasons as to why it feels like she's working far more for them than anything else, and who knows there might be a reason for that, but given that the main bad guy yokel said something along the lines of "I've been taking care of her since the incident with her mom", I'm guessing that her mom died and she's now viewing them as more of a family than anything.

Basically, I think there'll be a LOT of drama with her and as it stands right now, she seems more with them than anything else.

You are right about Brie... Her folks are connected... I suspect that maybe Russian mob plot is employed significant... Maybe the Italians as well. Brie is told to be of Russian descent as well as her parents which are deceased also. Her father was named Maxim. This is a Russian male name. The scene in the bar where MC's dad Liam beat the shit out of the two mobsters in John Wick style, that came to force him back into the fold... He told the senior mobster, to tell "Old Alexei" that he is not comming back to them. That Alexei I suspect is the sick head of the family in bed... probably Russian as well. Back to the moment when MCs dad went to his apartment and the MC told him if he is visiting just to gather info for the criminal families (more than one) from the police as a source (his son being in the force) then his dad stopped asking any questions at all. Considering the Florentinos are Italians I suspect Italian mob connection as well. So far we are lacking the Japanese, the Chinese and probably the Irish... we will see how that turns out...

There is something else I caught on going through the game... That criminal organization is called "The Syndicate"... For some reason such entities are considered seperate from the traditional mob - family structures. Where you have Russian mob, Italian, Japanese consisted mostly and predominantly of people with ethnic ties to the country of origin of the family. Something called the Syndicate is suggesting much more broader and international maybe cross border origin. They are not in that sense a traditional family - mob thing. They are something else maybe much more worse that even the traditional mob families are afraid of. If you happened to watch the TV serial called "Almost Human" with Karl Urban starring in it and some other popular names you will get what I mean. There is also a criminal organization named the Syndicate in the series, and I highly recommend that you find time if you can and give it a shot. It is one season consisting of 13 episodes. For some stupid reason the show was cancelled after season 1 though it was really good since it took place some 20-30 years in the really near future where everything is even further technologically advanced. The series were something between Cyberpunk and True detectives, check it out if you can.

Cause honestly can't wait for Liam to start kicking some serious ass and to finally start teaching his son some kick ass movements and techniques... Besides wanna see how the MC is going to nail it with them Florentino chicks...

Omg, i just finished playing this one and god damn, this is good. This is for sure one of the better VN's i have played so far. Im liking all of the girls and the story is intriguing enough with some mysteries to uncover, i love it. Got a question though, is this one of those where you can pursue every girl or do you have to choose one. If so, it is a hard choice for me because i like all of them. Although with having to chose between the three girls, Afina, Evelyn and Kylie there thowards the end leads me to believe that i should maybe start focusing on one at this point even though i was going for all of them so far. Can someone clarify, its not very clear from the tags what kind of game this actually is

It doesn't have 'harem' in the tags nor under the planned tags, so I'm pretty sure that it's a one-girl only type deal.
If not, the dev would've specified by now most likely.

I didn't think it was a harem game but maybe one of those where you can date every girl but then have to chose near the end of the game who to go for, but it seems this one is more chosing one girl as soon as you can, since i have noticed that if you say go for Grace then you can't even get a choice to chose between the three girls at the party for instance which leads me to believe that you need to chose one and stick with her as soon as you can maybe?

Gotta say your point is valid. I am gonna add that "harem" route is not realistic feature in like 99% of the scenarios and in most cases has outstayed it's welcome, but "carpet banging" everything that moves, especially when some gorgeous female NPC's have the hots for the MC is actually fun and it can very help to determine the "ultimate" players choice at the end.
Adding one extra parallel love interest for the MC isn't considered harem route in my opinion and it is most logically and reality orientated situation, that there should be some competion of a sorts between two or maybe three of the most devoted to the MC females gamewise or storywise.
I think it should be fun until you make up your mind in deciding should you go with just one girl seriously, or bang everything that you can bang with no strings to it (probably someone decides to get pregnant in the process attempting to capture you), or should you join some monastery as a monk by the end of it all going totally solo...
But that is just my imagination running wild, either way it is not a harem in any way, but gives more options and access to more content and females to the player before chosing to stick with one or not at all...

Last status update according to the patreon page of the creator is from 21st January this year (from what I see) numbered "status update # 8 of chapter 4"... Is there any more info on when the next chapter is scheduled to be released or an estimate atleast?
