In those gray days time travel lost popularity. Pretty shame. But as nostalgia it's still good. Keep it's up. You're doing pretty well!
Good to see you back PiggyNose. Here's to no more problems for the foreseeable future. Good luck Brother!Good evening everyone, first of all, I would like to apologize for the time I was away, i had some unforeseen events that I did not expect.
As you know, today I only live off the income generated by the production of my games. Unfortunately, in April I had problems with the video card I was using for renderings, which ended up forcing me to slow down.
As I had the launch of 4 Kingdoms Supremacy scheduled for the month of May on Steam, I had to choose to rent some VM's and rendering farms which took most of the revenue generated by Brooks in Wild West.
I chose to make some cuts and the version that was released is much smaller than what was ready to render, but it was what I could do at the time.
Last week I finally received the revenue generated by the new Steam release and was able to arrange a new setup with a new graphics card ready to render.
Production is now back in full swing, with the remainder of the 2nd chapter of 4 Kingdoms Supremacy scheduled to be released this month and the 4th chapter of Brooks in Wild West scheduled for the following month.
I thank all of you who were here with me during this period, and I hope to be able to reward you in the near future. The frequency of updates will return to normal (And even faster, as I now have a superior setup). Thanks for everyone's support!
I'm glad you've gotten through that rough patch. Your commitment to pushing forward despite difficulty is inspiring, truly. I know plenty of others who might have let that force them to give up. If you want to succeed, one of the principles required is endurance — especially when life throws cattle dung in your face. (Yes, I'm looking forward to Brooks in Wild West.Good evening everyone, first of all, I would like to apologize for the time I was away, i had some unforeseen events that I did not expect.

And if you can't do both games, then drop 4 Kingdoms, I like it, but Brooks is up there with my very best favs.I'm glad you've gotten through that rough patch. I'm also glad you seem to be able to manage both games at the same time, since I'm sure it takes up most of your time, if not all of it. Thank you for updating us and sharing your game here for the community. View attachment 3790806

Furthermore, I thank everyone for their constructive criticism and I hope they continue to help me make my games better and better. Love you all!
Definitely looking forward to it. One of my favorites. Can't Wait.Good morning guys! The week has been productive, and I would like to update you on what has happened so far.
As I said before, during this month I am completely focused on Brooks in Wild West. The work is being divided into two parts.

I'm also carrying out a complete review of the entire game code, correcting errors, redundant variables, useless lines and other workarounds I've made in the past.
The goal is for everything to be finished by mid-September, my computer is working 24 hours a day and I'm evaluating whether to rent a second machine to speed up production even further.
Furthermore, I hope that like me, you are also looking forward to what is to come. Thank you for your support!

PiggyNose, that's a nice animation! Some animations are being reworked. Take a look at this fluidity.

-CookieMonster666- Coming from you this is a great compliment, in October I plan to have this game with the main story finished and in the best quality possible. I'm very grateful, to you, TheDevian and everyone else who helped me improve my work more and more throughout this year of development.PiggyNose, that's a nice animation!I'm very impressed with how hard you've worked and improved your game over the time you've been developing it: richer story, a lot more content, improved dialogue... and now also great animations like this? I admire your continual progression. You're showing yourself committed to your craft, something you don't see from a lot of developers.
Awesome. Thanks PiggyNose, can't wait to play it.Finally the game was updated, as I redid all the game's content, chapter 4 had to be divided into 2 parts. The first one was launched now and the second one will probably be launched at the end of the month. Below is a video tutorial on the new animation control. If you have any questions about the update, please contact me.

I've had fun playing, so I don't mind restarting. But for future takeaways with your development process, you might want to consult this thread about avoiding save breaking in Ren'Py. Very often broken saves are actually avoidable with a little planning of the right things and following certain procedures. I'm not saying that may or may not apply to what you personally have done, but avoiding broken saves whenever possible is always best. IIRC, this is the second total restart required of the game (so 3 playthroughs from the beginning needed); that's a pattern to try to mitigate. Some players will just give up on a game if forced to restart too many times.A lot of things in the game have been changed, so I recommend starting new saves from 0. (A lot of content was also added to the previous chapters)
But if you want to go straight to Chapter 4, I can provide a Save game at the end of Chapter 3 with everything at maximum and the gallery unlocked. (Although I think it loses all its fun).
This probably won't happen with Brooks anymore, as the next two updates should be the last. But I'll keep that in mind for my next games.I've had fun playing, so I don't mind restarting.
