The site admin is still MIA, no response and no idea when there will be one. The HHS folks have their discord and don't mind staying there long term if need be.
Check your F95 DM's. We need to decide on a plan of our own, so I've revived the private convo thread we made when the old forum went down. If the forum stays down, we'll either need to create an own discord server or find/create a new forum if we prefer that.
(if any active BK community members want to hop in on that private conversation, let me know!)
We can also temporarily hang in HHS' discord server to wait and see what happens (longer term that doesn't make much sense to me)
Any chance anyone has a link to 0.3? I was going to download it and try it when the forum went down.

So I like the new update but so far ive run into alot of errors, like when I was exploring the warehouse district, and whenever I find an item I would get "ERROR couldnt generate item for rank 2."
I also got to the farm where Gizel takes me to a secret room.. its full of script errors.

I'm likely missing something but does anyone know the purpose of the ignore list (you can add a picture to it by pressing your 'delete' key)?
Would have thought it meant the picture would no longer be chosen for any events/acts but they still show up, even after you refresh pictures in Picture Management, Repair Pictures or start a new game.
I understand you could just delete the picture from the pack manually, just felt like this is a feature to trim them from in the game that I'm not understanding.

Personally I really prefer a dedicated forum over a discord server, because I don't really want my discord account to be found in a server dedicated to a porn game, maybe I'm just a prude but y'know. Plus it's easier to keep a history of old posts in a forum than on a discord where it's really easy to miss previous topics or info.
I'm just a no-name player of the game though, so my opinion doesn't hold any real weight.

I agree with you, I find discords harder to navigate. You can always just make a throwaway discord account to access nsfw discords, it's what I do.

I totally agree! On the other hand, finding someone reliable who volunteers to host (and be responsible for) the forum isn't easy. BK's subject matter is a bit controversial and the contents of girlpacks/mods are even more dubious since they may contain copyright infringement, CSAM, bestiality.
And while I don't like it, Discord could work as a short term stopgap while we hope and pray that the site comes back up (although it's starting to look less likely IMO)

While I prefer forums due to superior interface I have noticed that discord usually gets more traffic and engagement (I guess due to people binging it like social media).
Considering that the old forum was already pretty much half dead traffic-wise, I think there is no harm in trying discord.

Exactly, and i'm pretty sure that discord has made updates recently that allows for thread-making and much easier navigation. Also if you look at other more mainstream nsfw games most if not all of their traffic is on discord, with a game like bk with many different users coming together with all sorts of information, discord is surely the way to go. It all depends on who runs it and how its managed although, but with trial and error, i'm sure it may even become a permanent solution and paired with the instant communication and feedback, it could even allow for the game to flourish in a way we haven't seen before.

Additionally, I found out recently that if you are trying to use the Girl Pack Tagging tool on mac, there is a simple way to accomplish this,
1. simply download both the tool and the patch and apply the patch as usual.
2. Go to the game, lib, and renpy files and select get info on each of them and unlock the lock on the bottom right of each of them, after that, go to the bottom and change the permissions to read and write for everyone and press the three dotted lines on the bottom to apply them to all enclosed folders on all three folders.
(this is so you don't have to change the permissions for each of them one by one)
3. Go and download a virtual machine such as parallels, crossovers, or etc to run it.
4. Lastly make sure to add the pack you are trying to tag to the images folder.
That's basically it, let me know if you have any issues, no diddy.

The ignore list works like you think except it requires a software restart to take effect (so basically it will affect your next game session). This is because of how Ren'Py caches pictures. Also, some pictures update every game day so you need to skip one day to make certain pictures (e.g. profile pictures) go away. Finally, it was not working properly until a recent patch so make sure you have
