A little.Does anyone know how the Headhunter works?
The six-trait regime is a holdover from Bonanza. Vanilla limits you to two and Trait King to 1-3 (at chargen), depending on a random roll. So picking more than three means you specify a pool from which to draw traits. I could have just disabled the extra picks, but someone might want want to fiddle with trait limits themselves, and having built-in support for up to six isn't so bad, is it?I put in a six trait order, yet, she arrived with only three.
Can't reproduce. I suspect you might have run out of originals (i.e. they're all in the game already). Or, well, how are you identifying originals?I also inputted to make the girl an Original, that didn't happen either.
Only insofar as to block you from ordering if you're too poor to pay the advance.Does the HH order take into account your current cash?
The price tag has two components: the HH fee and the 'real' price. You pay about half the fee in advance, and the second half plus buying price later. It is always possible to skip the price and send her to the market to wait until your gold grows again, that's risky as she'll probably disappear quite soon. And you can leave both unpaid and accrue some really bad interest for every day the HH has to feed your girl.My gold was lower than what I imagined the price tag would be for the girl.
Wasn't there a Sill pack? That's the closest you're going to get.Are we going to be able to pimp Sill out...
There is a Sill pack but from what i can see in playing it does not work with the new current version, she will not show up in the slave market at all even after constant refreshes, unless im doing something wrong not sure? XDA little.

Similarly, you're not going to get a lot of negative traits if you pick more than one. You'll usually just lower the price a bit in return for not getting that exact negative trait. TK, again, allows for more negative traits on select girls, so you might get what you wished for.
There is also the bug/feature that the HH does not always follow your order. Which is the origin of the 'haggle' button.

In any case, the price tags were supposed to be exorbitant based on girl prices. Since vanilla girl prices are a joke compared to what Bonanza's prices used to be... Well, you're actually getting off lightly.
Edit2: I updated the HH a little, to fix some bugginess related to getting original girls.
Do note that trying to order an already existing original can lead to results you might think strange at first glance. That's because the mod+game defaults to looking for originals over the specified character ('cos you paid for an original), and girls with least number of occurrences if it can't find your specified target. Whether such a rare girl can or cannot be an original is what determines whether you get an original in the end, even if the game could find you an original from among the more common girls.
If there are cries of outrage, I might think about this a bit.
Edit:

I did have a mechanic for making Sill a temp slave, but that was not something easily ported back to vanilla, and will thus likely stay in the dustbin.
Ah thank you so she just wandering around the city somewhere, sweetAs I recall, the Sill from that pack was a unique free girl, so you're only ever getting one of her and she won't show up on the slave market.

Yes, I think the spell is bound whether it's a day or night spell. I wish the casting was more clear...By purple, you mean auto-cast? I don't think one can just dismiss an active aura. Disable auto-cast, wait until next day for the spell to run out, recast another.
For some reason, threat is tied to the amount of gold you have, so you have to diligently and tediously seek out the small opportunities to waste money. Is there a point in this game where the Threat level is too high and you eventually get a game over, even when you are at the last area? Is there a way to reset it? Is there a New Game +?
I don't know. But I guess the Taxgirl is a bigger problem during endgame than security events. Is there a point in this game where the Threat level is too high and you eventually get a game over, even when you are at the last area? Is there a way to reset it?
No. Kinda hard to imagine how it'd work, even.Is there a New Game +?
The thieves heard you're rich? You're footing the bills for all these fun brawls? Monsters are attracted to the scent of gold? For some reason, threat is tied to the amount of gold you have...
Eh, there are bigger money sinks these days, too. Restocking and upgrading the shops. The resource market, as I said earlier. The Taxgirl robbing you blind. The Headhunter, maybe? I'm not sure how she scales to vanilla pricing and income....so you have to diligently and tediously seek out the small opportunities to waste money.
