Steam already shows the first quarter of 2026. It's not very nice how the author did it on Steam. He recruited a lot of people to add his game to their wishlist. Many in the community said there would be languages, but for now there's only one language on Steam. And after the author changed the dates of his game to others, how did the trust on Steam drop? Question: Why did the author fool people and give them false hope that the game would be released on December 25th? They could have just set the release date to December 26th, and that would be it. 2025-12-25_15-22-42 (1).png

Well, let's see...

In the past, T4bbo claimed he couldn't update because his wife was in a coma, then claimed she had suffered severe brain damage, then claimed he had to flee either The Ukraine or Russia because of the war, then claimed he couldn't update because construction workers had left scaffolding all over his house (you know, the one he had to flee Russia/Ukraine from)...

So I'm not sure why anyone would believe his "Christmas Day 2025" post.

I always thought that the Christmas Day 2025 release and Steam releases were two different things. The Christmas Day one was supposed to wrap up things for part 1, and the Steam release would start the part 2 of the game later in January 2026. But I guess nothing is coming out today/tomorrow, and anything new will be straight on steam some time in 'first quarter in 2026'?

Sorry boss, I saw that you will release part 1 burning Boundaries on 12/25, but is it a continuation from the last update or is it a new chapter of the game?

Continuation will be release on Steam in January 2026 due to some additional changes required by Steam.

  3. Part 2 still plan to release this month.

So once again T4bbo dates are flexible and badly communicated. I love the guy's work and I'm glad he hasn't abandoned the game completely but this gets old

Update & Apology — Release Moved to January 2026

Hey everyone,
I owe you an apology — Burning Boundaries – Part 1 won’t release in December and is now planned for January 2026.
The honest reason: Steam’s content rules are vague and communication is limited, and during review I was repeatedly pushed toward adding content tags I’m not comfortable using, even after toning down, rewriting, or removing scenes before submission; at the same time, after attending Patreon’s latest policy meeting looking ahead to 2026, I decided not to risk it, temporarily took the game down from Patreon, and chose to move forward only once Steam clearly confirms those tags are no longer required.
Rather than gamble, I spent a significant part of the last month rechecking every erotic scene in the game and validating compliance using multiple independent LLMs, which are currently the only practical way to sanity-check policy interpretation when platforms don’t give clear guidance. Only after that did I resubmit the build to Steam, where it’s now awaiting final approval.
The good news:
  • Part 1 is finished
  • Includes additional 50+ new and reworked animations (not previously planned)
  • Erica’s scene
  • Long-term Patrons (6+ months Super Supporter and higher) can request the build via Discord for testing
Languages available at Steam launch (on release day):
English (US), French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (BR), Polish, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese.
Part 2 will continue once Part 1 is fully locked, as its opening depends heavily on Part 1’s outcomes and is only 50% finished.
Thank you for your patience and trust.

Censoring time, and as I stated months ago, there is no guarantee Steam will even accept the game.... they've approved many games then a day before release removed it from their store.

Steam are bastards to deal with
That is the point, they are not the same Steam you can willy nilly post whatever you want now, or even that you could this time last year as Steam was close to how SubscribeStar used to be with rules, now they are stricter than a nun's asshole or even Patreon.

You have to censor your game if you want it there. Even then they can pull the plug the day of the release or day before, they've did it at least 5 times in the last month alone. One game only had an image of a girl from behind and Steam banned it. Steam banned a horse game where a guy had a girl on top while he was running around a playground. Steam banned another game just because it contained anime girls. Steam banned, you get the point....

And how could I leave out SubscribeStar? They are banning developers and games as fast as Patreon now. Oh, you might have noticed those games are gone from F95 to

People are better off posting their game on Onlyfans, and I'm not even kidding.

I wouldn't be surprised if all three just ban avns outright in the future. I laugh when people say 'just use SS' they think anything is allowed there just because some avns fly under the radar.

This means that creativity can be greatly weakened?
If there is less creativity, or freedom in the realization of erotic scenes, the game could become banal...

Steam prohibits what kind of scene? I assume rape or when the person is forced to do something...

But it could greatly alter the story if the storyline wanted to give depth to a character...

Looking around the discord posts it seems the Lara/Tony scenes are the ones changed:

T4bbo

Its mostly Lara/Tony scenes that have been rewritten where Tony is not such an asshole...

Honestly that's frustrating since especially the early scenes had such a great exploitation/transactional vibe

Steam seems to be very arbitrary with how they apply their "rules." They claim to be against non-consensual sex acts (and I'm ok with that, personally) yet they have kinetic stories on their site where men are forcibly sodomized routinely. I really don't understand what their standards are and how they are applied.

Honestly, I don't know how an AVN author can keep up with the Steam policies; perhaps that's by design.
