just played it and yeah, seems like its still got the same vibe, which is great. Hope the dev keeps delivering like that, its so good.

He posted that he is "on the last scene" one month ago, since then there has been complete silence in discord. DLGB does it sometimes, I hope everything is ok with him and we will get Riley's update within a month, maybe sooner. But who knows...
well we all know this dev will come through, unlike (RK Studios)

That so called update is totally bogus, a single flash back is hardly an update , I hope the developer isn't charging his supporters for a single flashback labeled as an update!
In fact, no one whose native language is English does not make this mistake. Because the subject of i/you/we/they is the first lesson taught to us in English. Only those who speak English can make this mistake, and it is due to differences in speaking and writing.

What's more, you need to learn to tell the difference between English from England and English from the USA.For an England native, Americans also make a lot of mistakes: ‘than’ instead of ‘then’, a ‘z’ instead of an ‘s’, not to mention all the people who use ‘they’ instead of ‘I’ or ‘you’, but that's slang, I suppose.
Anyway, that game is still a pretty good one and I still hope we'll have soon a new slice of it.

that's right "a british colony" than the new "America" did everything it could to remove everything british, which includes "spelling last names & words differently" but they really tightened the way the british loved greed & control on the lower class and boosted that by 500%.
now back to bad english.
Personally, I want an update entirely about the little girl next door with the enormous tatas and big meaty butt. But that's just me.

To set the record straight...
America didn't gain independence FROM the King of England, they beat the British in the Revolutionary war, which by the way didn't end until British General Cornwallis surrendered to General George Washington in 1781. i.e. they TOOK their independence. The reason 1776 is important is because that's when the Declaration of Independence was signed. Interestingly, it included a list of the colonists' grievances against the British government. It also explained why the colonists considered themselves independent sovereign states.
As for greed and control - the Americans at the time were firmly against a "ruling class" and aristocracy, which is where declaring Democracy came in. Anyone was free to pursue their goals within the law - they didn't inherit them as part of a class system. While greed now in the U.S. is fairly rampant, it is definitely open to anyone willing to pursue it, not just one class.
Lastly, is it surprising at all that over the course of 100-200 years, the two languages deviated from each other?
I'd settle for any 'meaty' update that wasn't more than a few minutes' worth of renders. Some actual content that does the game justice. The game was (is) good enough to continue working on, imo.
My man. Those neighbors are the characters I'm looking forward to seeing more of the most. They are way higher up my ranking that the main family.

Unfortunately there is complete silence, the last message from Dev was that he was on the last scene, it was 40 days ago. We can only hope that he is okay, but he does not respond to discord or boosty DMs
This already happened 1 or 2 times, but then he disappeared for a shorter period.
