I don’t understand how to play, please tell me.
Is this story some kind of one-shot?
Is there no continuation to the story??

This game is definitely not a "one-shot".
The main mechanic of this game is to go through a time loop and your actions will corrupt the world and characters.
Your best friends to help you progress are the 2 buttons on the right side of the screen

This one opens the conversation map, it allows you to see the choices you have already done (white text = done, greyed out choice = not done) and the different points (love, mood...) awarded by those choices. It also shows the requirements for each event and the requirements that some choices have.
On this map you will also see those icons (5 colors, I'll put a screenshot below for what the colors mean), those represent specific actions that can be done in an event. When the inside is greyed out it means you haven't done that action. Each of those will award you a World Corruption (WC) points once you reach the end of a loop.
Some choices and events need you to have a certain amount of WC to access them.

On the left side of the conversation map you can see all the points, some are permanent and other are temporary.
- Love, horny and mood points as well as Carla's and Sami's special points will be reset to 0 at the start of each loop but you will unlock more and better ways to get those points as you progress with the different girls.
- Jenny's and Lina's special points and the WC points are permanent.


This icon opens the progression hints. It will give you a list of things that need to be done to unlock the corruption levels for each girls. Once unlocked, each girl corruptions can be toggle on or off in the menu between each loop by clicking on the text next to the star icon.

To unlock some event's and WC points you will need specific combos of corruptions for different girls.


General notes: try to do choices you haven't done, some choices can look like they don't lead to much but can have important sub choices.
Once you reach the end of a loop take the time to explore the menu, there is a lot of info in there, including a help/guide section that covers most of what I've said and maybe some stuff that I forgot to mention.

Please be more precise when asking a question.
If you are talking about World Corruption (WC) you can see it in the conversation map on the left

Or in the menu between each loop click on the icon in the top left then click on "progress log" button.


If you are talking about the girl corruption, it's in the menu between each loop. Click on the icon of the girl you want to check then click on the "corruption" tab to see their corruption and toggle those on or off.

On the right side pannel you can also scroll down to see all the WC that can be gained with this character, it also show which ones have been done or not.

If a corruption level has a padlock icon and "???" instead of a star icon and the name of the corruption level it means you have not unlocked it yet.

Anybody else gets this error when selecting saturday night "Movie Night" scene flowchart, either during the scene or from another scene by manually choosing it from global flowchart:

This persists even on a new run from the same save file or on a new game. Playing v0.53d.

Edit:
Tried to replicate this error on v0.52d (compressed), flowchart appeared normally.

Apologies if this has been talked about before, I hadn't seen a post about it yet.
When you start the Horror movie event, if you try to access the path-map, it causes an exception.
Everything progresses as normal just the branch-map isn't available for 1 decision.

Since I didn't want to wait for the update I fixed it for myself.
I'll share the fix here.
Drop this file in the /game folder
To download the file, right click on it and select "save link as"

The first line says "Sami needs to be more corrupt to continue" so it seems you forgot to activate Sami C3 (Corruption 3).
If you have Sami C3 and 8 love points with her, there will be an event available on sunday night.
Under spoiller I'll put the list of choices you need to follow to tell Sami you love her but there are other paths in this event to get there or to get to some sexy content.

Once again you forgot to activate corruption. If you don't activate them once unlocked you won't have access to the events to progress further.

Send me your save and the error log, I'll look at it, but I can't promise anything.
I've tested the event on my side and didn't have any issue.
I hope you have a prior save that's not too far back in case I can't find a solution.
Otherwise there is still the possibility to revert the fix I made so you can go through the event.

I think I miss communicated what i meant, the error was before your script and it seems the script did not help, i think this is what you mean by error log, let me know if its not

Nope that's not the error log.
To share the error log there are 2 solutions:
-Trigger the error and click on the "copy bbcode" button at the bottom of the screen, and paste (ctrl+v or right click menu paste) in the comment.
-After the error has been triggered the error log is created as a text file in the same folder as the game's .exe, the file is called traceback.txt

Also the saves are in the /game/saves subfolder, the save files are name like this "1-2-LT1.save". The first number corresponds to the page of the save and the second number corresponds to the save slot on that page. So for the name I gave as an example it would be a save on page 1 in slot 2 (top middle).

There is no traceback.txt, i dont get an error trigger, as soon as i try to load my save, the game just crashes no error screen.

I'm sorry but I couldn't fix the issue. I did a bit of research on this problem and if I'm not mistaken, your save was made on an older version of the game and the crash might be caused by the fact that the line of code that corresponds to the moment you saved doesn't exist anymore in the new version.
If you still have the older version of the game you could try to load the save on that version and go through the event and make another save, then you should be able to load that new save in the new version of the game.

If you don't have the older version of the game or if doing the above doesn't work then you should contact the dev, either on itch.io or on discord (both are linked in the OP).

PS: a little advice to avoid that kind of problem in the future (that advice applies to any game with some sandbox element).
Before going to a new version of a game, make sure your save is not made inside an event.
Also, saving often and on different save slot will help, in case of a problem like this one you can use an older save.
For CBTL I personalty use the first slot to make a "hard save" at the end then I use 2 to 5 slots inside each loop.

I started a new playthrough of version .53d, PC version played using Joiplay, and found a couple issues.

1. When exploring outside at night on Saturday and Sunday there were some subsequent nodes in the tree that weren't hidden by default.

2. I started the quest to get pictures for Carla. I didn't take any pictures, but she still was upset with me taking pictures of boobs and I got the "Boobs" mail.

Sorry if these bugs are a little vague, but hopefully they will be of help.
