Pretty cool game once you get the hang of trading. I can see why some people call it a bit grindy, but I'd say it combines VN with a small portion of business. Either way it's not THAT bad in my opinion and if you don't like it you can always cheat some money.
Small question though: Can you mess up the main quest/story if you take too long with certain decisions? I'm still a bit traumatized from playing the "The realms of Arcania: Blade of Destiny" game like 30 years where I minded my own business and after a few hours it was like "Well too bad, you took too long and now everyone is dead" :ROFLMAO:

Also is it just my imagination or am I losing points with the girls? I swear they've already been higher at some point.
Not knowing where you are in the game, it's hard to give you good feedback.

If you haven't been asked by Admiral Loren to do a covert mission against the Krillen surrounding Dione, then you've got no problem messing anything up. Trade and salvage all you want. But after that the story takes off on another turn...so I don't know what to suggest??

Oh, of course, If you haven't gotten there yet, might I suggest you try my Mod/Upgrade? Callisto-X? In spite of what one reviewer said, if you like Callisto, you'll like Callisto-X too.

Worry not, time is not an issue. The crucial events will be automatically triggered and you'll either 'win' or 'lose' depending on the choices you make and how seriously you take combat and commanding training when it becomes available. You can, however, miss some minor events along the way. Use the minimap and look for the colored stars to make sure you get all the available content.

The affection system is complex and interdependant so yeah, you lose points with the girls over time unless you interact with them. Also, consistently choosing one girl above the others will drop the neglected girls' affection points and this could lead to some funny scenes between them showing their jealousy. I'd suggest to take your time and focus only on one girl for a while and soon you'll see how others react to that attention, then switch your focus girl and so on.

Just completed the game, enjoyed it but when I looked to the quest screen just before getting locked into the final hive encounter, I saw "Club Exotica" was still greyed out, how do you unlock this?

Club exotica is the get together of the entire crew where you invite Tracey and happens just before the hive battle begins. I'm not sure how you could miss it. If you have a save and can go back and find it, then it might just be a glitch that the choice didn't get changed.

PS: [Callisto-X is also a fun derivation if you liked this game]

Not sure, but the first thing I would try is making sure your graphics card is up-to-date. I'd also look at what settings you have running in the game (the Ren'Py settings, not the in-game Settings / Preferences menu items). You can access the Ren'Py graphics settings by holding Shift when starting the game or by pressing Shift + G once the game's running. I'd look at graphics acceleration and similar; you can see a list of things to check by .

Not sure about the quests anymore, but trade is basically a cycle where you go from a to b to c to d and back to a and while you're on planet a you buy stuff that you sell on b. On planet b you buy stuff that you sell on c and so on. Depending on how much the wares cost to buy and for how much they sell you may want to calculate beforehand which of the wares you buy, because the most expensive stuff is not always the best/most lucrative.

You'll get the hang of it fast but the real challenge is getting 100% done, the girl that's in charge of the trading do her first within the 1st week if you proceed you'll miss and no way to get the quests back. I enjoyed that game a lot was a good challenge getting 100%.

Please, Please, PLEASE!

Click on the "?" in the MENU above!

1) There is a detailed set of drawings explaining how the Trading and Salvage portion of the game works. Half an hour of studying those 4 pages will give you a good understanding of that section of the game.

2) You have to earn enough credits trading before you can begin salvage operations which make you more credits. The trading gets easier when Tiffany grows up enough to become your 'trader' and then it's easier to see which commodities to buy and where to sell them.

After you earn enough credits, the rest of the game 'takes off' with new missions....'nuff said.

PS: and if you've only finished the prologue, you might consider checking out "Callisto-X" which is my Mod version which is basically the same but with additional twists, help and endings. [shameless plug]

Besides that players first priority should be getting tiffany quests first, the challenge for me was getting 100% of game, also getting tiffany quests were a challenge good thing I save a lot. Really enjoyed the game.

Regarding the misc. event 'Lounge All - A': Could someone please explain to me how to trigger it? Or (preferred) could you tell me the variable definition in the save file?
I simply can't find out when this event triggers, however it bypasses after Alice has changed.

lounge All -A can happen after you free Dione on Friday Night (only) in the lounge. Instead of watching Tanya talk about pole dancing as exercise you get a nice drinking game. The variable is misc_lpc01 = 0. But rather than searching for it, just use a save game after you've freed Dione and before Alice changes and go to the lounge on Friday night.

@xsssssssss and @AvatarStormBringer to clarify the relationship wheel a little. The inner wheel is indeed the main love interests in the planned story line for Callisto. This does not however prevent romantic relations with those on the outer wheel or other additional characters that crop up in the content. The mechanics for the wheel is that it reaches a balance between the various characters. The inner wheel is calculated separately such that under normal circumstances you will only be able to access all lewd content with one central character at any time. You will find that later in the game that you will be able to likely romance two of these central characters at the same time due to a tweak to the calculation.

The outer wheel is calculated a little differently, with half the index related to the central character they are associated with and the other half a balance with the outer characters. To explain this in reference to the below, Julia's rating is lower than Tanya's at the time this check was made. This is not because I have been playing less attention to Julia, but because she is predominately allied to Tiffany, to which I have been paying no attention to at all. What this means is that while romantic content is still available with Julia, the full range of content that may potentially include threesome with Julia and Tiffany is not available.

Love Wheel.jpg

At the start of the game the wheel with be set at certain starting values based upon the events during the prologue. After every single romantic interaction the wheel is recalculated based upon whom the interaction was undertaken and the nature of that interaction. A have designed a single label that undertakes this calculation that from my preliminary testing appears to be pretty stable. It's also very easy to implement in the code, as all of need to do is call this label from the code that includes the romantic interaction.

The positioning of the different sectors is quite deliberate and the outer characters are aligned to the inner ones as shown above. Additionally outer characters that are adjacent also share common interests. Interaction between Rachel and Alice being the most obvious one. Nothing is set in stone prior to the games completion, hence open to any contributions.

I will likely remove the listing of the actual indexes and replace with an information card about the crew member when it is selected on the wheel. Basic bio information plus a listing of all of the styles of lewd content and what is currently available / unlocked / remaining to be unlocked. Note that some of the content to be unlocked will depend upon progress of the main story.
TLDR. How *exactly* am I supposed to raise scores by "paying attention to them" when I am only repeating events and conversation. I get that sex times should increase affinity (even though they don't always) but is checking in Tanya espousing the virtues of stripping as exercise for the 100th time supposed to increase the index of all those participating?

I am on my second time through this not counting deviations for endings, third if you count going to play CallistoX. Came back here to play this to compare the differences since it had been so long since the first time. I still simply do not get the love index. The above seems to be the most complete explanation I can find even though it is old and I am not sure what changed since.

Example:

So according to the above explanation how would I get Tanya's score to go up?

Tanya drifts down no matter what I do (she is the only one I can sleep with but still goes down). By the explanation above I infer that maybe this is because I am not interacting with Lia. But all I can do with Lia is check on her and get generic responses repeated that are pretty much brush offs. Are these supposed to raise her score? They don't seem to. Notably letting her comes to bed doesn't seem to raise her score either.

Secondly I infer her score is maybe mitigated by Julia and Rachael's score. Rachael's score keeps going up regardless of how I interact with her. Is this because Kara's score is going up so much?

Julia's score, unlike everyone else's score idiosyncratic dynamics, reliably goes up by 0.3 and doesn't seem to randomly drop. This is strange since by the above explanation she should be the most negatively impacted because my lowest scores are centrally Lia Tiff and peripherally Alice who are all about the same. Tanya should only be negatively impacted centrally by Lia and peripherally is now about level with Rachael and Julia who keep going up but Tanya keeps going down.

So why is it easier to raise Julia than Tanya? By the above explanation it seems like it should be opposite.
