But the render quality looks even worse than the "original", it seem some weird filter is applied. I'm not against original looks but this one looks not nice in my opinion. Also most faces have been customized in a weird not pleasant way. I suggest the author to see if his audience is actually liking the current result, it's better to fix things at the beginning than having a remake when the story is progressed.

Most devs only release games they know there's an audience for cuz they obviously need to make money to be able to keep working and finishing their games. It's the main reason why you won't see too many of them stepping out of this comfort zone, so to speak, for a big maybe and only stick to the type of content they know it sells.
You want originality and creativity so much, feel free to make your own game and see how easy it is to work on something so seemingly trivial that's a hit-or-miss like porn games are. Won't complain too much about those two after the bills begin piling up and reality knocks on your front door coming to do her thing.
I actually liked the weirdly angular faces and the slanted eyes, assuming that's what you're referring to. Gives the game its own look. I think it helps having played the dev's previous game so I knew what to expect.
