Overview:
It's game night! You've just sat down to play with your two college roommates and best friends in the world. But, oh no! What you thought would be a fun card game is actually a 15th century alchemist’s perverse ritual for transforming men into insatiable sex slaves. With your bodies and minds on the line, can you complete the game and turn everyone back to normal? And by the end, will you even still want to?

Campus Magnum is a transformation-themed, gay erotica card game. It contains explicit content as well as descriptions of domination, submission, humiliation, nonconsensual sex, and sadomasochism. The fantastical events depicted are intended purely for the enjoyment of the player and are in no way meant to promote hate speech, sexism, or intolerance toward any group of people.

I legit cannot follow this, the text and language is already cryptic and confusing, having to play as 3 different protagonist that are all basically the same but with different colors, well that just made this imposable.
On top of that, the lack of any content images made this very unapealing.

Let me change my reply to this game is honestly annoying to play - so much text and words with no summary as to what is it all about. after(replayed) 3-4(10) games (each lasting 5-12mins) i stop'd due to brain hurting research and why would anyone want to play a game then research sht because of certain words 100% of the time i was unsure off.
-
im going to re-add this in a review if this reply gets buried. SERIOUSLY LOL TIME suddenly research!? nope. (which got deleted by someone)
-
I just say this game need more flavor text - tldr of what happened between them.
-
Interactive actions and more replay ability.
-
For a text game the creator really made it well andif not for the highfalutin words that causes annoyance and maybe a quick side box that explains the effect. The tutorial no matter how many times is just confusing. the only thing you will remember someone has lunatic alignment they win. Hyper complicated rock paper scissors. a simple game made so dumbfounding complex if anyone just din't try to see it as a card game.

Great MM game bro!

The in-game directions are fine but I found it most helpful to just start playing the game. Like the characters in the game, we don't always know exactly what is going to happen with each card we select; that is just part of what makes this game so fun to play.

You are on to something with this game. I understand people wanting images/pic but you do a great job creating a mental image through your text.

I just talked myself into play it again.

I played it on tggames site, both the 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 version. I liked the writing and I liked the little more control in the new version too. But i find the outcomes too much unpredictable. But, that's may be my tastes. Also, maybe one option to turn down some transformations/contents? So people can turn off some things that they don't like. Off course, don't everthing, but some contents maybe will be okay (You can even warn people it will decrease the amount of variations, endings and content). Finally, it's a fun game, with some potential. I hope you don't give up. Cheers

I really like this one. It's unpredictable enough to fuck with you a bit, and the descriptions are great.
I find the game being actually hard to play is part of it, since the characters are as lost as we are in the beginning. We don't have many cards yet, so it gets repetitive if (like me) you get a bit obsessed and play game after game. But this is just a second version.
I have high hopes for this one and will for sure keep an eye for updates.

Now, where's one of those in real life, heh? Let's Jumanji!

It wasn't all that interesting at first, but it really grew on me. Not a big fan of some the transformation hijinks, but the numerous possible endings really makes it interesting.

I agree with Maxdoug though. The option to allow/disallow certain transformations would really be awesome. I like increased body hair, but less body hair is a no. Not a lot of transformations outside of furry content, but could try. And hey, maybe actually consider furry content if you wanna keep expanding the options in the game.

My first run got me an ending where apparently nobody wins, so I thought "oh, all the sex is during the game." I didn't read through the rules so I didn't get the hint that this was apparently the bad ending.
You should spoil the spoilers

Also, how does one get the no one wins ending?

Man, this game is super interesting and unique. The UI is super nice and stylish. Everything is very nice. There is a lot more variance in the game than what I was expecting.

A very minor suggestion is for the name change to stick?

Also I'm curious if there is more development planned, and if so, the direction? I was left feeling (with the great writing) like I wanted more agency in between the scenes to "revel" in the consequences/transformations a bit. I didn't really mind the fetishes that I wasn't fan of all that much, but I also felt that every transformation, including the mental ones, seemed to have no impact on the flow of the game which felt a bit disconnected.

Hey, Maxdoug. Thanks for sticking with me since the beginning. I hope to post a development roadmap by the end of the week; although, with the Holidays, I don't want to make any big promises. I have a lot of plans to add and tweak content.

One of those upcoming changes is an organic way for players to say a hard "No" to certain transformations. It's true that, while it may gate off certain content, my assumption is that players who don't want to see certain transformations especially don't want to see endings that depend on them.

Man, I have been waiting to Jumanji for a decade. Let's get on this already! I'm thrilled you've had a good time so far. There's dozens of unique interactions between cards to discover and, currently, seven unique endings. I hope to add an eighth within the next week. It's the raunchiest scene yet, so probably not for everyone. I'll be adding a few more cards at least, but I'm always looking for more ideas. Please do share if there's any transformations, scenes, or fetishes you'd like to see. The ending I'm currently working on is based entirely on one player's feedback.

This is a fun game!
Your writing is pretty good, and you have a lot of imagination to make this rather unique game.

And feedback will help a lot to address your critique too, GS523523. I originally balanced the game around 18 body changing cards, 12 mind changing cards, and 8 soul/memory rewrite cards. With the transformations and fetishes I was able to think of, the in-game ratio is currently 15/8/8. So, adding more types of changes will help those memory ones to come up less often and be bigger game changers when they do.

Right now, the simplest dialogue exchanges take place when cards are offered, and that's where I intend to add in more synergy between cards and follow-up on earlier changes: A chance to fuck Caleb's massive new ass or insist Mark be a good pup and not lie to you about his offer. As I said above, roadmap coming soon. I hope you'll give it a try again once those additions are made.

Thanks, Naturalrice. I tried to keep the UI pretty clean, since the complexity comes from the game rules. Still, I'm no artist, and I am actually hoping to commission someone to do some cover art at least. I also wouldn't mind someone taking a stab at making the card faces more unique. I've covered some of the planned changes so far in this post, and I hope that address your question; but if not, I'm happy to talk about future directions and very open to hearing what your thoughts are on where the development should go.

And another thank you to all the players who have liked this post, tried the game, and left feedback. To those who've said they're running out of content in Campus Magnum to discover, please go give UnrulyDogBoy's game, DemiTransference, a playthrough. It's got transformations, hot guy-on-guy sex, and (unlike mine) actual, not-just-words-on-a-page, porn for you to enjoy.

Can confirm Demitransference is great, so if anybody wants to check it out, I love it.

I don't think I've seen all the endings. I remember seeing 4 of them.
Mark wins and makes both of us into bottom twinks. Caleb wins and makes me his boyfriend. I win and make Mark into a muscle top and Caleb into a woman. And one were they all lose and are stuck like that.
Since there's a lot of luck involved, it's hard sometimes to get the ending you want.

Since you're looking for ideas, here's a couple (I'll spoil them)

Finally, and maybe it's me who's dumb, but sometimes I don't understand how some of it works. Sometimes someone rejects the card and it bounces back on them, but sometimes they pick another person for the card to bounce on. Why? There's a few of those instances I don't really get. Maybe you could dilute the rules during game play as well. A character explaining to another one what just happened or something. Pretend one of them didn't understand what went on and the other has to further explain. That would be helpful to dumb players like me haha

Each of the players have two unique endings. And there is one ending if no player wins. The intention is more for the different endings to serve as consolation prizes if you don't win the game. In the future, I intend to replace the MC wins with a minigame that lets you customize Mark and Caleb's transformations directly. But, it's early days, so I'm still working on that bit. I don't really recommend trying to hunt down every ending right now. My next update should make it easier to steer content in the direction you want.
