I'm sure it will be here in time. Be patient.Um I know piracy is bad but can anyone give me a download link of Captivity v1.0.5 ?
Door password changes from save to save. Someone shared a savefile near the start of the thread that should have a set code. Otherwise you need to complete all the experiments to get your code. And you get money from killing enemies.what the door pasword?? and how to get monny in game stard
Dev said it needs to be 50 unique enemies. You can't "farm" a few of them. The metroid achievement where you have to dodge 50 energy balls to unlock Samus hair seems bugged/impossible. Did someone really manage to do it ? I suggest to change the requirement to "dodge 10 times" and also I suspect this achievement is bugged as someone pointed out previously in the thread.
I have the same problem, You can play the game if you use Windows Sandbox (Can only be used with Win 10 Pro)Will it be 1.05 ? cause 1.04 has the same problem
Good to know. But how are you supposed to dodge 50 enemies which almost one shot you ?Dev said it needs to be 50 unique enemies. You can't "farm" a few of them.
A lot of waves and a lot of luck most likely. Have to make sure that you have space and time to go dodging blasts and that there isn't too many of them at one time so that you get hit when you come out of your dodge.Good to know. But how are you supposed to dodge 50 enemies which almost one shot you ?
Thank you for giving such kind words. I'm not an animator and never had any training as an artist, so seeing someone love the animations so much makes me happy and motivated to create more. I'm glad to hear that the recent balance changes have helped the Cave stage, as alot of people hated the stage for being overly difficult. You've done a fantastic job. I hope our suggestions help you out. I came out of lurking and bought the game on itch.io because it impressed me so much, especially since you did it all by yourself. I just wanna add my support and thank you for dropping this little gem on us.
1.0.5 fixed my two biggest concerns right away, the Musca and maggot problems. My only suggestion now is that Casual difficulty is at about where I'd expect Normal difficulty to be at. As a wave shooting game, people will probably play this for countless hours anyways, so there's little need for absurd difficulty to keep people playing it past the 10-20 hour mark. Still, that comes down to personal preference. The Caves level is much better now, and I didn't run into as many issues as other players on Jungle.

I also just wanna gush a little more specifically about what I liked.
1. These animations are phenomenal. There's some seriously great work here. For me, special mentions go to all the face-fuck and leg carry poses, the Musca's massive ejaculation, and the Grabber Zombie/Sqoid for the mind-control element. Everything is fluid, impactful, and conveys the moment beautifully. They're honestly works of art all on their own, and the fact you packaged these into a functional and fun game is quite literally orgasmic. We'd all love for more of these animations.
2. The stage/enemy/weapon variety. I love the wide range of themes and tools available; you made some fun, cool choices. It's also really great how you've managed to hide surprises into almost every level (barring Shack, which is perfectly fine since that's really more or less the tutorial level). Another level, you say? I'm excited!
3. The movement, controls, and the general game mechanics. The speed of movement, momentum, jump height, cursor tracking by the gun, controls, almost all of it is seamless and fun. My only gripe might be how swapping weapons sometimes takes just as long as reloading, but it's not actually all that troubling. My recommendation is to leave these as is, or treat them with a very gentle touch if you find they need adjusting for the balancing of other things.
4. The sound design. The volume balance is good, and each sound matches player expectations, with perhaps the exception of the F.E.R. robot metal sounds. (To be honest, I find that particular sound choice to be a charming, cartoony touch, but to each their own.)
It's really cool that you logged on to this site and are responding to people so much. You're clearly very thoughtful, and put a lot of work into this to make it a reality. I hope you get enough sales to justify continuing this, because it's really impressive!
I'm not sure how stealth would work in a wave based shooter. I don't think it can. Interesting idea thoughI gave this game a try and I love it.
But at the beginning, the difficulty gap between the shack and the others were quite big, but I probalby just sucked.
Keep it that way, I got used to it, myself.
I don't know, if anyone mentioned this already, but there's a bug with giving birth.
When you do, there's a chance you will stay in the pose.
You can do everything as before and enemies won't attack you, since you "are" still in the birthing animation.
You can cancel it out by rolling, but stamina doesn't regenerate in that state, so if you don't have it, hey, free achievements.
I hope we get more enemies, stages and obviously animations.
Maybe more drugs.
More stamina?
I wonder, if you could make a stealth based map.
We can crouch and that crouch walk doesn't really have any use for now, besides steadying aim, I suppose.
Keep up the great work, dev.
Well, I meant, like, a special, separate mode for said stage.I'm not sure how stealth would work in a wave based shooter. I don't think it can. Interesting idea though
Captivity 1.0.5 Cheat TableWell, I figured out how to get the values for Strength, Pleasure, Health, Libido, and Dash with Cheat Engine.
1. Get some Libido.
2. Change Search type to EXACT VALUE and FLOAT.
3. Make your Libido change and Next Scan the new value. Repeat until you narrow it to two addresses.
4. When you figure out the two Addresses that handle Libido, find out which one actually sets the value.
5. Once you have the actual address figured out and you have the address in the editing area, copy and paste the address 4 times.
6. Starting from the first duplicate, subtract 12 (C in Hex) from the address, that gives you the Strength Address.
7. With the second duplicate, add 20 (14 Hex) to the address, that gives you the Pleasure Address.
8. With the third duplicate, add 52 (32 Hex) to the address, that gives you the Dash Address (Freeze at 100 for Infinite Dash).
9. With the fourth duplicate, subtract 584 (248 Hex) from the address, that gives you the Health Address.
You'll notice a pattern when you see everything lined up this way. I'll use my addresses as an example (Remember your addresses will be different from mine) :
13ABD1AE31C | Libido Address (E31C)
13ABD1AE310 | Strength Address (E310) (12 Decimal Difference to E31C)
13ABD1AE324 | Pleasure Address (E324) (20 Decimal Difference to E31C)
13ABD1AE34C | Dash Address (E34C) (52 Decimal Difference to E31C)
13ABD1AE0D4 | Health Address (E0D4) (584 Decimal Difference to E31C)
Keep in mind if you Mind Break or Return to the Room, you're going to have to start this all over again as I have no clue how to make Cheat Tables that works straight from opening the file that also persist at all times. But at least I showed how it can be done if someone is willing to make a Cheat Table based off this.
