The metroid achievement where you have to dodge 50 energy balls to unlock Samus hair seems bugged/impossible. Did someone really manage to do it ? I suggest to change the requirement to "dodge 10 times" and also I suspect this achievement is bugged as someone pointed out previously in the thread.

Um I know piracy is bad but can anyone give me a download link of Captivity v1.0.5 ?
I'm sure it will be here in time. Be patient.

what the door pasword?? and how to get monny in game stard
Door password changes from save to save. Someone shared a savefile near the start of the thread that should have a set code. Otherwise you need to complete all the experiments to get your code. And you get money from killing enemies.

Dev said it needs to be 50 unique enemies. You can't "farm" a few of them.

You've done a fantastic job. I hope our suggestions help you out. I came out of lurking and bought the game on itch.io because it impressed me so much, especially since you did it all by yourself. I just wanna add my support and thank you for dropping this little gem on us.

1.0.5 fixed my two biggest concerns right away, the Musca and maggot problems. My only suggestion now is that Casual difficulty is at about where I'd expect Normal difficulty to be at. As a wave shooting game, people will probably play this for countless hours anyways, so there's little need for absurd difficulty to keep people playing it past the 10-20 hour mark. Still, that comes down to personal preference. The Caves level is much better now, and I didn't run into as many issues as other players on Jungle.

---

I also just wanna gush a little more specifically about what I liked.

1. These animations are phenomenal. There's some seriously great work here. For me, special mentions go to all the face-fuck and leg carry poses, the Musca's massive ejaculation, and the Grabber Zombie/Sqoid for the mind-control element. Everything is fluid, impactful, and conveys the moment beautifully. They're honestly works of art all on their own, and the fact you packaged these into a functional and fun game is quite literally orgasmic. We'd all love for more of these animations.

2. The stage/enemy/weapon variety. I love the wide range of themes and tools available; you made some fun, cool choices. It's also really great how you've managed to hide surprises into almost every level (barring Shack, which is perfectly fine since that's really more or less the tutorial level). Another level, you say? I'm excited!

3. The movement, controls, and the general game mechanics. The speed of movement, momentum, jump height, cursor tracking by the gun, controls, almost all of it is seamless and fun. My only gripe might be how swapping weapons sometimes takes just as long as reloading, but it's not actually all that troubling. My recommendation is to leave these as is, or treat them with a very gentle touch if you find they need adjusting for the balancing of other things.

4. The sound design. The volume balance is good, and each sound matches player expectations, with perhaps the exception of the F.E.R. robot metal sounds. (To be honest, I find that particular sound choice to be a charming, cartoony touch, but to each their own.)

It's really cool that you logged on to this site and are responding to people so much. You're clearly very thoughtful, and put a lot of work into this to make it a reality. I hope you get enough sales to justify continuing this, because it's really impressive!

Those patch notes look pretty good. Especially the maggot and trapper parts.
Also here's some tips for a couple of maps for those having trouble. On cave what I usually do is camp out on the far right while standing on the top ledge while dropping the lamp on the bottom side. With some good aiming and dodging you can deal with most of the flies coming from the top while keeping an eye on the hunters coming form the bottom. Also I try to not buy generator first but the rifle instead, after which I camp at the left side of the upper platform from before and snipe most of the flies while the hunters are pretty easy to deal with as well.
Jungle actually gets fairly easy once you get one of the milleni shot guns and just camp a ledge, this way you also don't walk around the map and risk stepping on traps. But lasting long enough to get a milleni can be hard.
For F.E.R. I get the Muger pistol first and go to weapons after I run low on ammo.As long as you're close enough to the wall down there enemies don't spawn behind you it's fairly easy to hold, again either of the milleni shotguns is great for holding corridors like this. Sometimes I'll leave one enemy alive so I can make the trip to the drug station if needed and I can also make it back in time to get more ammo.

Will it be 1.05 ? cause 1.04 has the same problem
I have the same problem, You can play the game if you use Windows Sandbox (Can only be used with Win 10 Pro)
Just copy paste the folder and you should be good to go but don't forget to transfer the save out of the program or you'll lose it.

If you don't have Win 10 Pro you can buy a key for cheap i bough mine for $3 on key reseller sites.
Maybe the v1.0.5 Won't have the problem.

Edit: v1.0.5 Fixed this issue for me.

I gave this game a try and I love it.
But at the beginning, the difficulty gap between the shack and the others were quite big, but I probalby just sucked.
Keep it that way, I got used to it, myself.
I don't know, if anyone mentioned this already, but there's a bug with giving birth.
When you do, there's a chance you will stay in the pose.
You can do everything as before and enemies won't attack you, since you "are" still in the birthing animation.
You can cancel it out by rolling, but stamina doesn't regenerate in that state, so if you don't have it, hey, free achievements.
I hope we get more enemies, stages and obviously animations.
Maybe more drugs.
More stamina?

I wonder, if you could make a stealth based map.
We can crouch and that crouch walk doesn't really have any use for now, besides steadying aim, I suppose.
Keep up the great work, dev.

Good to know. But how are you supposed to dodge 50 enemies which almost one shot you ?
A lot of waves and a lot of luck most likely. Have to make sure that you have space and time to go dodging blasts and that there isn't too many of them at one time so that you get hit when you come out of your dodge.

Page Update to v1.0.5

This update contains more balancing, bugfixes, one added feature and general changes.

Features
- Added Auto Escape: When an enemy is having sex with player, you can now press Jump key ('W') to automatically attempt escaping. This way you are not forced to repeatedly mash buttons. This is useful in case your are bad at mashing, or have finger problems. Auto escaping is always a bit weaker than manual escaping, especially if you're good at mashing.

General changes
- Changed way of saving files: Changed it so save files are stored in a permanent place. Copy and pasting save files are no longer necessary. A quick guide to maintain your old save file from version 1.0.4 or older to the newest version is shown when downloading the game
- Birthing animation succesion: When birthing eggs or creatures, now births all ready fetuses in one go
- Made F.E.R challenges Sassy, Happy, Lively and Funny challenges easier: instead of having to reach wave 15, now wave 10
- Changed F.E.R challenge "Funny" from: "Get choked 15 times by Jackys and reach wave 15 in a single game without a broken mind", to: "Get raped 15 times by Jackys and reach wave 10 in a single game without a broken mind"

Balancing
- Pistol: less recoil, more accurate
- Buffout: from +20% Strength to +25% Strength
- Halman 785 (Sniper rifle): Now penetrates enemies
Cave
- Maggot: Maggots are now steppable: run or dash over them to squish and kill them instantly
- Musca: Musca's now spawn slower
- Hunter: Hunters now only spawn after wave 2
- Price to activate the generator is reduced from 1200$ to 600$
Jungle
- Trapper: Lowered chance of placing traps, and increased amount of space between traps

Bug fixes
- Musca carry freezing bug potentially fixed. This bug happens randomly and seems quite rare. When bug happens again now, instead of freezing now should drop the player
- Challenge Help Me was not completable, now fixed
- Fixed bug where dropping a weapon while also equipping it through the weapon selection hud makes the game do weird stuff

Thank you for giving such kind words. I'm not an animator and never had any training as an artist, so seeing someone love the animations so much makes me happy and motivated to create more. I'm glad to hear that the recent balance changes have helped the Cave stage, as alot of people hated the stage for being overly difficult.

Stay tuned for more content in the future.

I'm not sure how stealth would work in a wave based shooter. I don't think it can. Interesting idea though

Well, I meant, like, a special, separate mode for said stage.
But then again, that's a lot of work.
But hey, maybe someday?

Well, I figured out how to get the values for Strength, Pleasure, Health, Libido, and Dash with Cheat Engine.

1. Get some Libido.
2. Change Search type to EXACT VALUE and FLOAT.
3. Make your Libido change and Next Scan the new value. Repeat until you narrow it to two addresses.
4. When you figure out the two Addresses that handle Libido, find out which one actually sets the value.
5. Once you have the actual address figured out and you have the address in the editing area, copy and paste the address 4 times.
6. Starting from the first duplicate, subtract 12 (C in Hex) from the address, that gives you the Strength Address.
7. With the second duplicate, add 20 (14 Hex) to the address, that gives you the Pleasure Address.
8. With the third duplicate, add 52 (32 Hex) to the address, that gives you the Dash Address (Freeze at 100 for Infinite Dash).
9. With the fourth duplicate, subtract 584 (248 Hex) from the address, that gives you the Health Address.

You'll notice a pattern when you see everything lined up this way. I'll use my addresses as an example (Remember your addresses will be different from mine) :

13ABD1AE31C | Libido Address (E31C)
13ABD1AE310 | Strength Address (E310) (12 Decimal Difference to E31C)
13ABD1AE324 | Pleasure Address (E324) (20 Decimal Difference to E31C)
13ABD1AE34C | Dash Address (E34C) (52 Decimal Difference to E31C)
13ABD1AE0D4 | Health Address (E0D4) (584 Decimal Difference to E31C)

Keep in mind if you Mind Break or Return to the Room, you're going to have to start this all over again as I have no clue how to make Cheat Tables that works straight from opening the file that also persist at all times. But at least I showed how it can be done if someone is willing to make a Cheat Table based off this.
Captivity 1.0.5 Cheat Table
nice guess, i did the Table for ya.
should point the right addresses. tell me if gives some errors

Damn while I love this type of game I'm also very, very bad at them. Hope the dev adds some kind of cheat mode for people like me who can't aim or dodge for shit.
also really want a way to skip or shorten the sqoid sex animation

How pregnancy system works there? I received notifications that MC got knocked up by zombie. But no difference in the next wave or after the next wave...

Seems like the author is here. Have you consider release it on dlsite or Steam? I think the only problem to release on dlsite is needing of censoring.
Also, is there any DLC/expansion pack or sequel in plan?

Also, I think you have already notice that, good sir, people love this game. Really Really great job!
Things I think possible to add in the DLC or sequel:
1. Companion - you don't need smart AI, just need to add stationary NPC shooting hostile automatically. An upgrade to the purchasable game play and MORE SEX.
Possible problem = Another character being attack on the map might not suits in the current system?
If current system can handle it, VERY SUGGESTED.
2. Orgy(?) - Multiple enemy getting on to NPC or PC.
Possible problem - HUGE work load, might need to do butch of animation. Time could use to make more level. NOT REALLY SUGGESTED(?).
3. Sandbox Mode
Well, if companion system is working, assuming might get the system of "Adding NPC" in the game working. Then you just need a room and allow unlimited heart player to "BUY" enemy and NPC into the map.
Two way you could do it - Unlock Spawn Room (Sandbox room) after clear the game.
or
Make play making money while playing experiment and use the money in the Spawn room.
Kind of big reward for playing the game.

Thanks for making the game and reading all this thing
