to many devs advertise as cooking you a steak but once they get on steam, they wind up serving you chicken, and saying your wrong this is a steak. when you u no in your heart its chicken shiit. Point is just make a dayum ipatch nobody calls there parents by there 1st name.

I do always have for most of my life only in my early years I called my dad , dad ( before high school) never mom for my mother always used her first name . Same goes for my grandparents and aunt / Uncles. I always felt weird calling them that over their first name ( and yes they are my bio parents). So it works fine as is for me but I do get your point it's kind of like step parents vs real parents for incest fans. As I noticed 1 is disliked more and feels cheap when you are looking for that tag cause you want it to be acknowledged in the dialogue even if you know their relationship to the MC.

I am backI was working till late yesterday to launch the Carnal Contract on STEAM and release it here as well, but now I am back with some news.
Carnal Contract - Dev report
This was our first game, on which we were working long time ago, but now its completed and out on Steam.
With this update, the game get 1000+ new renders, a few new LEWD scenes and different ending/beginning.

I believe Carnal Contract offers a truly unique story. An ancient Greek game is back, and you’ve been drawn into it. Through scenes and research, you’ll uncover more and more about its secrets. If you enjoy mythology and history, this will be interesting and fun for you.

Keep in mind, Carnal Contract doesn’t follow just one path. You can explore different options, build stronger bonds with one of the love interests, or take new directions entirely. While the ending ties back to the main story, your journey there will feel different depending on the choices you make. So I do recommend to try other paths and choose other love interest.
The game is now officially finished and complete. I already have a scenario for Season 2 (it will happen on new location, Crete in Greece, but whether it becomes reality depends entirely on how well the game does on Steam. Without enough support, I won’t have the time or resources to make it happen.

So some quick thoughts:
1) The "Sweetheart" dialogue in the opening scene is dumb. Not only does it break the custom relation immersion more than any other lines in at least the early part of the game, but it even doesn't make a ton of sense for non-family relations either. I mean if the MC and his dad have been living with Diane for nearly half a year, where he's essentially become like a step-son to her, and this is the first time she has called him by a nickname like that? That seems like a fairly long time has passed that "She's already calling you sweetheart" just does not make any sense... Nor do I understand how calling someone a nickname is spoiling them?
2) I feel like removing the coma and two week jump was an big mistake. (and I don't just mean because his ex-girlfriend still mentions the MC was in a coma, and the MC also make an offhand remark about his coma although that one can at least be played off as a simile). The timeline makes more sense when Diane and the girls have had time to grieve Richard's death before the MC shows up at the house (actually even the MC had more time to grieve since I think he was still in the hospital for a week after waking up), not to mention there is no mention of a funeral/planning for one or any of that other unpleasant stuff you have to do when someone immediately dies, which if the MC is out of the hospital 1-2 days after the accident he would likely have to be involved in as well as at the very least Diane... Where as with the coma all that can have taken place while he was laid up.
Also lines like "The police still haven't found out who caused the accident?" when again they've now only been investigating for like a day...
To say nothing of how the MC seducing Diane literally days after her boyfriend/husband Richard dies is now both kind of gross and harder to believe than if it was weeks later...
3) "That only means more movie nights and bra-less days." Uhh... Why does him not moving out mean more bra-less days? In the original dialogue having him live there meant the opposite which makes more sense.
4) The MC had only just announced that he has rented a place, but it certainly seemed like he hadn't yet moved out yet on the night of the accident? Yet a bunch of lines like "{color=[colorDiane]}{b}Diane{/b}{/color} told us you’d be staying with us again..." and "Starting to live again with us." "Finally, someone who understands me in this house again." make it sound like he had already moved out, when the only time he hadn't lived with them recently was the time he was in the hospital?
5) LOL this second line does not work very well with the custom_relationships dialogue line before it....

I purchased and played the game after its release on Steam, but I have a question.
Wasn’t it supposed to be reworked into a free-roaming format?
As far as I know, before the Steam release, there were two versions: the 0.9 rework version and the original version. If I remember correctly, the rework version had a free-roaming system where you clicked arrows to move around the house.
But the version released on Steam doesn’t have free-roaming.
So basically, it feels like only the final episode was added. I really don’t understand what exactly was reworked during the more than a year of release delays.
Of course, I enjoyed playing the game. I don’t mean to criticize the developer — I’m just genuinely curious.

Yeah i thought I read the sandbox was being changed not sure how tho ( which is why I plan to try it before I buy to see if I want to buy it or not cause im picky on sandboxes if it still is one)
I remember playing this game ages ago, guess I'll have to wait for the proper I-patch.
If I understood correctly from the previews, the game pre-rework was much better than post-rework correct? Or some users are simply made for the chance and post-rework isn't that bad? Thanks in advance.

Post-rework really is moot since it's not even the same as that now.
As others have said this version is more closely to what the original version looked like.
The WT is now already ingame, no mod needed for that anymore. There is an updated Android and unlocker mod from him if that is still desired, available on his page here:
