The one I downloaded few days ago was UE5 and I was wondering if anyone had UE4 that had other quests and npc's ue5 doesn't have yet like the ancient dragon. :c
The UE4 build is in a spoiler in the OP. You want the cracked version. UE4 is no longer updated or maintained by team carnal, so what we have there is all we'll be getting for that variant of the game.

They have pretty much changed direction on how to make everything on the game, new story with the new UE5 engine, will have to wait for the content to reach the same level of content of the UE4 version.

Not sure why people are so hyped about this in "Frankenstein" style slop, where author has throwed together bunch of UE shop assets, but is to stupid to fix basic bug on control rebinding . The game looks alluring and provisionally made only on surface so I wouldn't suggest for people to have any hopes or high expectations regarding this plagiarism.

Quick question for you: Do you know why assets are available on stores like that? Do you think people buy game-ready assets just to spend money? Or is there perhaps a reason for it...

...like using them in a game?

And that's aside from the fact that a chunk of the screenshots you're showing here are only similar assets at the surface level. The body itself is definitely unrelated, and if the devs were using that basemesh pack we'd actually have a decent variety of enemies rather than a bunch of nothing. The jewelry collection is hilarious considering half of the jewelry I've seen in the game is painted on rather than modeled. Amusingly, I'm not even seeing any close matches in that first or last screenshots where you focused on landscape and building assets.

I'm all for dunking on these developers for the issues they have, like bad QA, lack of communication, bad QA, a complete inability to hold to a development timeline, and bad QA. But dunking on developers for using ready-to-use assets (while providing a bunch of screenshots of the wrong assets, at that!) is not the winning take you think it is when studios of all sizes do exactly the same thing. Doubly so when the overwhelming majority of games on this forum seem to be visual novels using the same subset of overused DAZ models in varying positions and poses. Personally my favorite ready-to-use asset is this background pack that crops up in a lot of Japanese VNs and art packs. It's amazing how many characters have the same house and meet people at the same park, etc.

Duh.

Do you really think ANY of the 3D Porn games have any assets that are hand modelled?
Of course 99% of the games are made of bought assets or even stolen/ripped/slightly altered assets and not only that.
Imagine, the movement, gameplay mechanics, etc. everything NOT programmed but BOUGHT.

Basically it's like using RPG Maker, but you buy everything and do even less programming.
That's sadly how nowadays even modern game devs do it, not just these porn game "devs".

Man, they just don't have an image of how development works and what it worth. I believe only 1% of hyped people understands that everything build with assets and they just like how they used these assets. The other 99% of auditory don't know shit about how things are done at all.

As dev you either a programmer who is using assets and makes content relatively fast without spending time on 3d modeling and animations.
Or you effortlessly do what u do, use assets, make something basic things you just can't do wrong, change engines back and forth just because u can, while you have loads of money flowing into your pockets.
Slow updates could have a project with devs who make most of the things by themselves. Unless they have a huge budget their visuals or code will be not as good as assets used in other games, which makes them appear weaker in comparison for a common player.
Most of the auditory judge projects by it overall look and not by "what's inside".

There is a line where projects become just asset store flips. I don't know if this one is at that level, but man they need to get their shit together. Because the culmination of all the other issues just makes the "asset flip" criticism start to actually hold water.

Part of the reason I called out ments's post is that these developers absolutely are using store assets, but mostly not for visual stuff. They're using combat and UI and other mechanical kits that they've bought and hacking that together poorly, while a couple of their core team members are making a fair chunk of the visual assets in house.

Also, I really dislike how people are generalizing "asset flip" as a term. That was originally coined with a very specific meaning of developers who were taking tutorial and example levels and releasing them as full games with swapped assets for a quick buck, but now people who have no understanding of game development have broadened it to attack anyone who dares buy a game ready asset and use it in their project, even when that's the ideal way for a development team to cover areas that they can't reliably cover internally. An asset flip is when you see a dozen flappy bird clones with different artwork. It's not when a company buys a soundpack and as a result you notice the horse you're riding sounds the same as it does in a dozen other games because they got the audio from sonniss.
Just give me a standard character crater what is this formless BS?
It's an introduction to the world and setting that was designed with little to no attention to user experience. You've got to run through several quests before you can get access to character customization because they wanted to make it part of your character's special powers and abilities.

IMO the formless bit is okay on its own, but it's tone deaf in context with the game's target audience and it has an intensely negative impact on the game's replay value because it makes the intro sequence into a tedious "are we there yet?" slog for people who have already run through it before.
Is there a new roadmap for this game?
