Patreon is worse than EA and EA like Electronic Arts i count as worst plague of current gaming eraIt's a bit like paying for Early Access.
I am fine with it. And i mean you can buy it directly for a fixed price and get the updates as well.
Patreon is just more like for those who only have some spare money and want to support it more direct. But i get what you mean. In this case they do make updates though and the progress shows.
An exampel for bad practice would be Fek. His Rack 2 has been on Patreon for how many years now? And how many updates did he push out in that time? When even was the last damn update to his game from the official side?
If the modders wouldn't have picked it up and started to update it themselves, the game would probably be dead already.
Did you look at the changelog for the steam update that released a few hours ago? That's three months of work. (The prior update on Steam was in July.) You would be hard pressed to find many other developers on this site doing that much work in a single quarter.People should stop paying for small shit instead, back off whole funding and demand real progress.Otherwise this game will be like any other patreon game, milk cow.
Vinfamy done more progress with his LifePlay trough those years than many others at same time
Way off to the north, beyond the town across the river. Looks kind of like a ruin from a distance, has a warp gate thingy right in front of it.WHere exactly is the player's camp?
The game will be visible to your friends via the activity feeds and the like, and visible on your profile if that's public. The purchase confirmation email also mentions what was purchased. I think the payment info is just a generic "thank you for your purchase" thing, but I haven't logged into my bank to verify and it's been a while since I bought anything that I could dig up and check. I would recommend getting verification on that from someone else.I've never paid for porn in my life, game or otherwise. However, I'm really tempted to just bite the bullet and buy the game on Steam, and I hate Steam on principle. Too much DRM and potential for Steam to just up and delete my entire game catalogue for no reason other than just because. My only question is this: When I hypothetically purchase the game, what shows up on the statement? I don't want nobody but me, y'all on this site and God to know I bought the game. Hypothetically, of course.
In my opinion paying monthly for a game is pretty atrocious, Or for that matter paying for one that is incomplete. The social aspect aside the steam version of this game has proven, from the last time I checked, to be vastly inferior to the patreon version.Did you look at the changelog for the steam update that released a few hours ago? I hope you will not be 40 tomorrow?I wonder if this game will be finished before i get into my 40![]()
As TheInternetIsForThis said, your friends will see that you have and play the game (you could go offline while playing so then then have to look if you have the game or look in the store). Why you not play "old school" with a single souce personal computer? Download the game, install it there and than cut the LAN.As TheInternetIsForThis said, your friends will see that you have and play the game (you could go offline while playing so then then have to look if you have the game or look in the store). I didn't know you were so fixated on the two Patreon-specific horse cocks. I suppose that's my mistake. The Steam version updated tonight, and as evidenced by the changelog I linked to in the post you quoted, is literally identical to the Patreon version at the moment sans two important details:In my opinion paying monthly for a game is pretty atrocious, Or for that matter paying for one that is incomplete. The social aspect aside the steam version of this game has proven, from the last time I checked, to be vastly inferior to the patreon version.
They keep coming up because that's the entirety of the "patreon exclusive" content people like to come in here and rant about without actually looking into what it is or how the game's update process works.Couldn't care any less of those horse dicks. Way too many anyway all the time. When will people bring up something original for once? Isn't there already some horse stuff in the game? Why 2 more now? I don't get it. Different colors?
If you don't have a Patreon account, literally nothing accessible until the current upload (which requires Patreon validation and is a week and a half old) gets replaced with tonight's Steam build, which will be playable and has this changelog compared to the prior game version on this thread.anyone have a list of what is added in the new version?
Usually multiple times a month the Patreon build is updated with the latest additions. Based on their roadmap the Steam build gets updated 4 times a year with the stable content (meaning the most recent content might be left out if it keeps crashing the game). So if the game version number is the same, they should have the same content (excluding some Patreon-only cosmetics).Sorry about the rambling. This is (so far) the only place I've been able to find a current-ish Patreon rip of the game. Everywhere else has v1.61, which looking at the version here is confusing to me. That being said, is the Patreon version really that different from the Steam version, or are they the same to some extent?
Jeez..They keep coming up because that's the entirety of the "patreon exclusive" content people like to come in here and rant about without actually looking into what it is or how the game's update process works.
