You have a good point, but to be honest it's a bit frustrating that they created a version with exclusive content and another one without (referring to the u4 versions). If only they didn't put cosmetic content in a single version and both versions had the same thing. I think the Patreon version should only have the most recent updates that are still in development and may have bugs and the Steam version should have less frequent updates but are more stable.The problem is that both UE4 and UE5 use essentially the same protection method. If you bypass protections on UE4, they'll update them for UE5 too. And for what? The final version of an abandoned branch that has so little in the way of changes compared to what we already had that they didn't even bother to give people a changelog for it.
