I can't even launch the game. It went straight "Fatal Error" after I double-clicked the .exe file. Is this normal? My setup is R5 5700X, RX7800XT, and 32GB of RAM

try to check if you have everything updated or the rar file was damaged or trying to download from another download, I started without problems.
Have you ever played the game before? Maybe it loads some settings that for some reason conflict with the new version.
I also noticed that when I start the game the DLSS is always working (in Performance mode i.e. 50% of the resolution) even when DLSS is disabled, so I should hear from others who have a video card not compatible with DLSS if it doesn't cause problems for them.

I have R5 7500f, RTX 4070s, 32Ram.

Does anyone have any idea where all the settings are, I want to delete the file/strings so that the game recreates them when it restarts?
I want to start the game over again because I've already accumulated too many mission bugs and then I have a lot of problems with the settings that literally do whatever they want (I see that no one talks about it so I think I'm the only one with these problems)

How come the "talk to Amara" quest is still bugged? Do I really need to start a new playthrough for it to work? >_<

Except a link we can hover over it to see the full URL where it’s going to take us.
Being an IT Tech I’d never just scan a random QR
Again, this makes absolutely no sense.

I'm not an "IT tech", but seeing an URL doesn't mean much, it can redirect to another site even. What’s important is the site's content and how users interact with it.
I understand that enterprise policy usually ban literally anything looked remotely malicious or use whitelists only, but that is not a realistic approach.

But I have seen the head developer of a certain software believe that visiting a site would compromise his security, so whatever I guess.

It's less common now, but a lot of the early QR code scanners would automatically load the target website if the code you scanned had a URL. For obvious reasons, this was abused and has impacted QR usage in general.

Even then why bother with a QR code while posting in a medium that allows direct links? If you're trying to avoid providing a direct link in order to prevent it from getting nuked, why not follow the directions that are explicitly laid out in the OP:
If you have a new version please share it through a Report or Ticket instead of posting it publicly ;)

To require interaction, just clicking on a link is boring.
Well, I guess it is working, just not the way I intended it.

Meh, it took too long the last time I tried it. Feel free to report my QR code.

Why is the game soft locking on quests. I've just been dicking around the beginning. The Quest is there, save the chick on roof. I died. Now none of the markers are available.
Go face the first boss, load. Cannot interact with the frozen blacksmith anymore. Loading the game doesn't help I have to go way back in a earlier save to make the quest markers appear.

It might be the graphics drivers
I have R7 5800x3D, RTX 3070, 64GB of RAM
And no problems just my GPU is getting hot from the usage by the game.
Your CPU is R7 btw
