Finally decided to give this one a go, and I ended up "kinda" failing a quest because I ended up exploring a particular dungeon that I wasn't supposed to do without the quest and because I didn't do it in the proper sequence (based on checking the wiki and stuff after), they ended up dead a few days later despite the quest clearing.
Quest is "Shipwrecked Anubites" & I ended up killing the Kravenrook due to random exploration before I even discovered their quest.
So lesson learned and just gotta follow the sequence of the quest proper and also have more backup saves in the future.

That's odd. "Shipwrecked Anubites" is the quest that gives you a choice, as you can complete it in an easy way (by finding their boats and supplies) or in a hard way (by killing Kravenrook).
If you choose the former and report that it's done, the anubites will leave the place.
If you complete the hard part, you can have sex with the priestess.
As far as I remember, it doesn't matter when you kill Kravenrook, because its head is stored in the inventory. And you can just visit the priestess and tell her you have killed the beast, then she will reward you before leaving.

Yeah it was weird for me. Like after a few days in game time later after they thanked me and everything, I returned with the Anubites all dead. I am honestly surprised but I am assuming its most likely something with what I did or a sequence thing that I might've selected or done incorrectly. Hopefully I don't run into more of these types but I might just reload a save that's a little farther away (will lose about a good half-hour of progress since I don't regularly save) to fix this.
The game stopped recognizing my save files. They are still in the folder, but the game doesn't see them and only offers to start a new game. The 'Load' button is unavailable. Please help, what should I do?"

No, there isn't. It's a linear open-world story rpg with replayable scenes at the moment, I don't believe they intend to add a sandbox either.

Where is all this new stuff? I finished all quests (I think, there are no more quest markers anywhere on the map) on previous update, installed new one
- Added new quest "Bump in the Path" (Anubite)
- Added new quest "Good Tombkeeping" (Inquisition)
- Added new Zone "Dhrakoq Port"
- Added new DSS2 multipart scene (Temptation of Bast)
- Added two new dungeons for "Bump in the Path" and "Good Tombkeeping"
