UE5, UE5 has a lot content compared to UE4, but in return UE5 has poor optimization, while UE4 is more stable.

according to the page before (427) someone mentioned the updates are slower and have less content because of the inevitable switch to ue5
You need to play the game for a bit, then use the transformation shrine after you unlock it.

UE5 introduced Weight painting & scaling, Skeletal Control rigging & meshing, new animating/animation. lumen + Nanite-micropolygon geometry system also came in, I think that's mainly the "bigger stuff" that came in UE5..
means don't need external/outside programs now like blender as example, to do skeletal rigs & your Animation / animating in, outside of UE5 so on so forth, It all can be done inside of UE5 now.
if you are talking about this game "Carnal Instinct" itself, i think UE4 version prob have more in it. from memory.

As far as I know, there's almost no pregnancy content at the moment. One character or so can get pregnant, but that's about it. I also think it's time pregnancy was added to the game. I enjoyed playing as a FMC, and there were a few sex scenes, but always without the risk of pregnancy, which I found a shame.
It’s partly due to how the development of UE itself is going. To be honest, if they could’ve stuck with UE4, they probably would’ve completed the project by now. But instead, they’re now forced to work on both the UE5 version and try to bring it up to UE4’s standard in terms of content—while also preparing for the eventual switch to UE6. This takes a huge amount of resources. And no, they can’t just stay on UE4, for multiple reasons.
Also, in my opinion as someone who has worked with UE5—Unreal is a curse. On one hand, it’s accessible and intuitive with Blueprints. At the beginning of a project, it makes you think everything is possible and that it won’t be that hard. But on the other hand, creating anything remotely ambitious becomes a nightmare—both when trying to pull it off with Blueprints and when it comes to optimization.
Eventually, you realize that more complex mechanics need to be coded in C++, and integrating that with Blueprints can be tricky, to say the least. In most cases, the larger the project, the more time you spend trying to make new mechanics work with the existing ones—or you end up in a development limbo, where fixing one thing breaks a dozen others that were working before, just because of Unreal Engine’s quirks.
To be honest, Carnal Instinct is probably the most ambitious NSFW UE project that has made significant progress. I’m frustrated too, since progress feels so slow, but I understand that many of the problems they encounter aren’t really their fault and require a lot of resources from such a small team. Comparing Carnal Instinct to games like Delta Zone really helps you appreciate how much they’ve already achieved.
They’re still fixing legacy DS1 and UE4 elements to ensure that any bugs or issues are clearly due to the engine transition—at least, that’s my understanding. My main concern with both the UE4 and UE5 versions is that they seem to be trying to implement everything at once, then expand on it later. That approach makes progress very slow. For example, pregnancy is already implemented, but since there are more urgent tasks, expanding on it isn’t a priority right now.
Just to be clear—you can develop a project that way, by building out many features at once. For support-dependent projects, it’s almost a necessity since it draws a lot of interest from the community. But it does make development a slow and tedious process. One benefit, though, is that you can easily track community feedback and leave room for expansion. For instance, adding pregnancy after all the NPCs and quests are in place could make it much harder—or even impossible—to implement properly later. For example you will need to remake some voice lines or make new ones to accomodate for that, and what if your original voice actor is no longer avalible?
according to the wiki at least, there are 3 npcs that can get pregnant (Samia, Iva, and Alkippe) though only Samia shows any sign of pregnancy and gives birth, they supposedly all acknowledge being impregnated, and 3 that have a 20% chance to get you pregnant (Moswen, Khyras, and Iva), all 5 (Iva's in both partner category) potential partners are found around Mehden island (the centaur siblings, Iva, Khyras, and Alkippe, are at the docks at the southern tip of the island with the Kab'alrah ruins, Samia is in the waterlogged ruins west of the rampart lioness, and Moswen is in Desu Quay) course the wiki could be outdated and the number Could be increased by now. (i doubt it)

I like playing a female character, but pregnancy is very limited. I think there's only one NPC who can impregnate me as a female MC.
there are at least 3: Iva, Khyras, and Mogwen, it's just there was a bug that made the centaur siblings(Iva and Khyras) Sterile until about 5 versions ago (excerpt from v0.5.22 changelog: Fixed a bug where centaurs couldn't make you pregnant)
Does anyone have a save for the current version with everything unlocked ? It appears the new version savegame no longer work with basic save editors. I am posting this while being fully aware that i've been lazy and did not check if the cheats in the download section still work or have the option to unlock things.
You can generalize your question to '95% of UE games'. Because UE is shit and most products using it are just free assets flips, the moment devs have to do anything out-of-box they collapse in confusion due to lack of skill and will.
When you combine it with general adult gaming '1 update per year with 1.5 scenes' (AWAM, I am looking at you), you can expect a total clusterfuck.
Sometimes I think about quitting job of json-flipper to become furry penis-flipper for huge cash.
