I have very unpleasant problem with the game. While playing i can save game and load as usual, but after reopening game does not see any previous saves. But there are all saves in: Local\Carnal_Instinct_UE5\Saved\SaveGames. Evey new session only "new game" option available. And all save slots are empty.

Hi, i had this problem too; with another version.
name the folder > "CarnalInstinct_UE5_v0.6.9" / CarnalInstinct_UE5 < works too

2Ways of WorkAround
1st Way -
Open the folder SaveGames.
Start "New Game" / Select an empty Slot ; female/male "skip prolog"
Go straight to the Campfire and press E < this will Create Autosave_Slot**.sav & **.png
for exemple :Autosave_Slot71.sav < remember the number !
in SaveGames folder pick an old save then copy & past in the same folder
rename the copy *.sav by Autosave_Slot71.sav

In game > press Esc , Load Game load the sav.
After that go to another Campfire by pressing M "maps" then E, after exit the game or Alt F4
Re-launch the game and see if you'll get Continue & Load Game available

2nd Way -
is to Save all your Autosave_Slot*.sav & "Manual Save_Slot*.sav in a new folder outside Local\Carnal_Instinct_UE5\Saved\ and delete SaveGames folder.
Start new game and do what I wrote 1st way

You unlock that quest after you complete the one to find Amhak for his sister at the Anubite camp near Ikenna Villa. Try going down there and talking to the two dragon sisters and Amhak if he's there.

Okay, thank you very much for explaining how to start the mission. It turned out that in my particular case, the NPC wasn't appearing in the correct area and was stuck for reasons I don't know, stuck at the door where he appears for that mission. But interacting with him magically fixed it.

No, the game doesn't offer a choice like that. No matter whether you're losing or winning the boss fight, it stops and then the sex scene begins, and its outcome is also scripted. It happens in the quests where you have to oppose some Inquisitor or Priestess (since the quests are non-repeatable, I don't remember the details).

For comparison, in The Last Barbarian game you get fucked (and possibly impregnated) by almost any enemy when you lose a fight. However, in TLB you're limited to playing female protagonist only, while in Carnal Instinct you can play whatever you choose.

I’ve been thinking about a few things and wanted to hear what other players think.

First, how do you feel about the lack of male versions of some anthropomorphic characters? To me, some species feel a bit unbalanced, and I’m curious whether others feel the same or don’t really mind it.

Back in the Unreal Engine 4 version, there was a clearly modeled male feline anatomy, including visible male genitalia, which made it seem like a male feline version was planned or at least considered at some point. Since only female versions ended up in the game, do you think that idea was dropped completely, or could it still come back later?

Also, since the game is inspired by Egyptian mythology, would you personally like to see more anthropomorphic animal types added, beyond crocodiles, felines, and jackals? For example, frogs (Heqet), scorpions (Serket), rams (Khnum), ibises or baboons (Thoth), and beetles or scarabs (Khepri), adapted purely as anthropomorphic animal designs rather than direct representations of the deities.
EDIT : I'm editing this part to add that these are some possibilities with the gods I vaguely remembered; I'm no expert on the subject. And I agree that I'm not a fan of some of them, but they're possibilities, lol.

Overall, what’s your take on adding more variety—both in terms of animal species and body types? Do you think the current roster is fine as it is, or would you like to see it expanded?

According to the developers' roadmap (not sure if it's still relevant), they are planning to add Serpent form, Equine form, Bovine form, Hawk form, Scorpion form, Moth form, etc., as playable forms, in the future.

Birds and rams would be alright, but I would not be a fan of frogs, scorpions, baboons, or beetles. Dragons don't really occupy a spot in Egypt's pantheon but that hasn't kept them out of the running despite the lack of ancient Egyptian deity to point to. Why not throw in antelope, non-centaur horses and zebras, and lions?

Are you talking about the "Save" File or the Cheat Engine Data ?

Save file is perfectly explained on the post itself and the cheat engine data just needs to be injected from anywhere , a tutorial how to use it is right under the Cheat Engine Table Post

This game has charm and potential to be pretty cool but it needs some basic changes asap.

1.All free camera. There's absolutely no reason some sex animations should have fixed modes and some free camera other than just unnecessarily restricting the player. It's the whole point of having a 3d porn game as you can watch the sex from nearly all angles and distance. All of them should either have free camera or both. Never only fixed modes. They are inherently inferior to free camera in every way, shame and form.

2. Pregnancy should be longer and at the very least shouldn't spontaneously happen, but rather let the player choose when/where it happens.

These aren't a "content/alpha-beta-whatever" thing. It's a conscious design choice and hopefully they make it right. Some others I can't recall atm might edit in later. Though the haircut choices are way too few, and I wish there was something between B and C bodyhair to where maybe the leg hair wouldn't be so thick, or there would be much less/none at the thighs but still some on the shins

Well, I found the tunnel and reached the flooded hall. But now I am stuck at the water puzzle: I see a valve on the bottom, I can dive to it, can swim around, but cannot use it for some reason, as the"E" button just won't pop up.
Using Shadow sight, I see two more valves up there on the columns.

I tried to google it and found a different description: "The 1st one is at the entrance, the 2nd is on the floor, and the 3rd is back there", and it sounds quite confusing...

I see some people say you can have sex with certain enemies, but I don't know how.
Also I completed finder keeper quest but I still can't unlock Nethyra's gaze sorcery.

This Save File gives you:
1,000,000 Gold
1,000,000 Essence
1,000,000 Attributes

All you need to do is located the game saved files (AppData\Local\Carnal_Instinct_UE5\Saved\SaveGames) [You can use {Win key + R} to locate your local windows data and type: %appdata%]
Place the .rar content to the folder "Local\Carnal_Instinct_UE5\Saved\SaveGames" and when you lunch the game, make sure to load from Slot 5 (P.s when pasting the files it might ask you to replace the old saves, so please make a backup of the old saves if you need them).

With this save file, you start from the beginning, and you have enough Attribute points to max your character skills.

Anyone else got an issue with the game not launching? When I try launching and it opens with a black screen for a couple seconds and then shuts down without saying anything
Which is weird cuz it *used to work* before the 0.6.9 version
EDIT: OK I FIXED IT! I had to change the disk the game was on and somehow that fixed it (so hopefully if you have this same issue this might also fix it for you)

The puzzle's actually really straight-forward: just do each valve that's closest to the current water level sequentially.

I get to the tomb but it's blocked and the guide just says "Go inside" .. I've searched everything in the area and the teleport ability does nothing.. did I walk passed a hole in a cliff or something??

I appreciate the time but I may have soft locked myself some how.. it's the same place as the photo and I cannot interact with rubble blocking the door in any way.. oh well it's not a huge issue for me as the game is still in development.. I just wanted to make sure I didn't outright walk passed something important lol
