Played some 2 hours of this game so far.

No corruption or any narrative justification to do sexual stuff.

I've just finished all the quests, it took me 10-15h to complete everything. All I can say is : yes, there is already a narrative justification. Even more there is a lot of potential with a kind-of faction system that will compete each other. For now there is no blocking point to work with all the factions at the same time. But we can already see that the devs aren't scared of pushing the player to choose the least bad option rather than choosing the best option (in light of our contemporary morality). I mean you can be the white knight saving a cursed region, and at the same time catching innocent people like Pokémon to own them as slaves. I've been genuinely surprised by the way some quests turned out.

UE4 version felt more organic, with way more NPC, the map felt more alive. But quests were a bit drowned under a main point of finding all the sex scenes. With UE5 they've started to develop a real lore to justify sex. Which is, I think, cool. The game now makes sense not just as a sandbox of sex scenes with superb visuals, but as a real game (with superb visuals).

And yet, HOW do you unlock the fast travel ability in the latest version? Previously, it was through a campfire (camp), now you can only change the time. I really (not) really like running back and forth -_-
Either I caught some kind of bug, BUT it's a license (I bought it on Steam -_-)

Click the camp fire you want to go to from the Map screen, not the camp fire itself in world

For anything other than sex sim H-scenes here are stellar. New DSS are great, and iteractive. They are quite bleak for now and don't include much kinks, but that can be changed quite easy. For RPG game anything other than simple loops is good, here we have interactive scenes, dev are starting to adding casual radiant sex scenes ( anubite in dragon pries camp, or one of dragon soldiers there ). I don't think you can do anything better in game like this, apart from adding some more kinks, and expanding pregancy mechanics.

For last 2-3 updates I can see that devs are finally moving foward and not sideways. Instead of simple quests and one sex loop, we are starting to see radiant sex scenes ( anubite want's do be fucked, accept or not ), radiant quests ( ritual vessel search ), more lore fleshing out the factions. Game is overall going into right direction, even if slow.

Yup, agreed, could be far better. But I prefer the game to have polished mechanics and story finished first. Then the sex scenes system can be improved. Better chance to see a finished game this way than the other

why there is so much delay in new update playing with half bugged quest sucks and frustrating

I was getting heavy stutters in the UE5 build, but after these changes all stutters are gone for me. The main issue seems to be shader compilation.

1) Game Launch Options
Add these to the game launch options:

-xgeshadercompile -nothreadtimeout -NoVerifyGC

2) GameUserSettings.ini tweaks
Add this to the bottom of:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Carnal_Instinct_UE5\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini

darling, you make a lot of assumptions, for a game that is on fucking sale on steam. he can complain/criticize all he wants, maybe he wants to fucking buy it and play the full game while he is still alive or maybe he already bought the game, oh and most of what the other person said, is still present in 2025.

I literally came across your post because i was looking for info about my bugged trapped villager quest, in which i died AFTER we got to the blacksmith last autosafe was just before that, the villager is now in the middle of the road, and doesnt bulge, therefore i cant complete the quest.

Devs like this are a cancer for the gaming environment and glazers like you are even more cancerous.
in 3 years, will come the UNR6 and the same dance will happen again, new map bc reasons etc etc.

give me a break, like EA, its morally correct to pirate this pseudo ad infinitum devs.
