When is this game expected to be completed?
Several years ago, by their original road map. Every time they share a new road map it's further into the future. I don't think it's malicious. They just can't manage their time well and have no idea how long any of their plans will actually take to implement.

"We should save this for an expansion" - something the developers don't know how to say.

Could also be a problem of monolithic, non-modular development. I know that's sunk some projects in the past, when they grow large enough to suddenly need a refactor because the "spaghetti" has become so tangled they can't add new stuff to it without breaking older stuff, and nobody thought to make individual portions of it removable and replaceable like parts. Like, in a level based game, if one of your level designers accidentally put a bug into it, you can just remove that level and redo it, leaving the others intact. You can add more chapters after the game's campaign for DLC. But if you do a huge open world with a bunch of quests that all take place in the same world space and all share the same resources, it can become impossible to extricate a portion of that for servicing or later inclusion unless you purposefully designed your data structures for that from the start.

Future of this game on Steam regarding payment processors.
With Visa and Mastercard bullying Valve on what they can and can't sell, how will this affect the future of the game?

Neither a rape nor an incest game.

I feel that this definitely is one of the big causes for delays in progress for this game, if you make solid modular components for each element it's then just filling it with useable content. To me I don't think they have this concept in mind when building any features. They just sorta implement them as they see fit, which usually ends up with a half baked buggy and inconsistent result. I've built plugins in UE5 for some personal projects before, it's really welcoming to making components re-useable, modular and expandable so it's not like it's a constraint of the engine.

If you build a good solid foundation for all mechanics before adding all the story/paint/content shit it makes the rest of the development quicker, but idk, guess that doesn't make money in the short run.

There are also many inconsistent bugs in the UE5 build, like quests breaking, interactions bugging out or being able to control your character in certain dialogue. However, they only seem to trigger for certain objects, dialogue, etc.. which makes me think there is little consistency in how the blueprints/actors are build.

I'm hopeful that in a few years this game might actually be worth replaying for the 50th time, but there have been major/minor bugs that have been there since they launched UE5 that still haven't been fixed and most of the existing content hasn't been polished since launch. So I might take a break for a year after finally playing the last 2 updates yesterday and realising it wasn't much different.

Yeah, whenever I see "cross contamination" like this, it suggests to me that they're not using a standard template and that a lot of content is bespoke/ad-hoc. I do coding for work, a lot of it being shell scripts, and we do things like preventing collisions by ensuring that each instance of a script can assign its own variables with a unique identifier on them so that the system will never go "read the value of 'i'" and accidentally grab it out of another script that previously set it. In a game, if doing one quest can break another one and those two quests aren't supposed to be related (like if one is SUPPOSED to block access to the other), then it means someone lazily threw in a value or a variable for one of them and didn't check for uniqueness against the other.

The alternative is that they're creating new template standards as they go but not updating the old ones, meaning that later on when they change something like how the player controls should be disabled in dialogue but an older quest used a different mechanism, now that older quest might break and allow the character to run around. In Carnal Instinct, I don't know when they implemented the futa character masturbating on the rooftop in the harem at the bottom of the map, but every time you talk to her, you'll lock into dialogue but you can still run around. This by itself demonstrates that someone coding that NPC and her dialogue didn't use whatever method is used for other NPCs, and suggests shortcuts like this may be in use elsewhere.

I think it's very likely they're not using a standard one-fits-all for the dialogue or it's just terribly untested. It could be they're building child actors from a master class and creating the dialogue that way? Much cleaner to use data tables + structures.

I never got that whole masturbating NPC interaction, it never leads to anything and why can you even interact with her if it does nothing. That whole area is bugged out for me, I can't trigger the "blowjob" scene they added at all and those quests easily snap, especially the newer one. I also don't get why the distraction (masturbate specifically) does nothing.

In the new quest I tried to put my torch away whilst pulling the rope to go up the elevator, for some reason I could (because player controls were on whilst doing the action) it didn't do anything and then I couldn't interact. For some reason the trigger wasn't the interaction but the animation finishing. I reloaded a save just before that objective and the dude wouldn't appear anymore causing the quest to soft lock. Ultimately I had to roll back to before I started the quest to complete it.

So a new issue. Computer black screens and restarts. Have everything set to Ultra/High.

I feel like most devs don't really invest into AMD optimization. I'm running a 7700X and 9070XT and tend to get weird graphics bugs in most in development games. I'm running on medium. I get some textures that will glitch out mostly when im in the more open areas desert/dunes.

So in the UE4 version, how do you gain access to the Carnal Instinct option with Nepthys?

Also, how to get this option with the Anubis Statue

And what're the top and bottom options with the Bast Inquisitor?

They don't exist. They were never implemented before the switch to the UE5 version. I could be wrong though. It's been awhile since I played it. You could try leveling up your Carnal Instinct by having copious amounts of sex with NPCs and see if that will unlock it.

Thank you for answering.

I'm at CI lvl 6 but I guess I'll try for 10 and see if that works.
