Can anyone help with the quest 'no rest for the wicked'?

I get to the tomb but it's blocked and the guide just says "Go inside" .. I've searched everything in the area and the teleport ability does nothing.. did I walk passed a hole in a cliff or something??
I also can't get into the tomb for that quest. Mine is stuck on the "Find Nergaal's tomb"stage of the quest. I can walk right up to it but it won't update the quest objective and there is no "press E" prompt to go inside.

The weird thing is I came across this tomb entrance earlier when I was on the way to find a scepter for a different quest and I'm pretty sure there was a prompt available to enter. I just didn't go in because I was already doing something else.

okay for those having performance issues, try this...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

run with high priority with task manager.

force dx11 "just make a shortcut, add -dx11 at the end of the "target" line in the properties of said shortcut"

if you have "cool n quiet" disable that in your bios.

use lossless scaling program. "archived versions are free"
run windowed at a lower resolution, and scale with frame generation to full screen.

there is a problem though no matter how good your pc is, if you die, or load a save while in the game..

memory leaks start to build up...

only workaround the memory leaks i know of.. is if ya die, or want to load after in the game, simply restart the game...

terrible workaround, happens to work....

Can also use copilot or something to analyze the game settings .ini text and tell it your graphics configuration, and ask it to custom tailor the .ini to your specific needs...

Simply replace the original .ini text with the provided text generated by the ai you use, save the file, then mark it as read only..
Do so after you make a backup of course.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

you can pretty much do these "fixes" for any taxing game, and have it run very nicely, but do watch your heat...

This game here is very unoptimized and in my opinion unplayable in the state that its in, "without a lot of work on the users part :(" but is expected, and i see HUGE potential in the future..

a pity this is on ue5.

Much luck and wealth to you.

This is all useless for one simple reason, UN5 -_-. The thing is, starting with the new engine version (5.4, I think), games have started automatically adding enabled LUMEN effects, which is a very demanding feature, a sort of RTX. But while previously there was only RTX and it could be turned off, now it can't be turned off (even if your video card doesn't support RTX, LUMEN will work -_-).
Even though the game has the ability to supposedly turn it off, in reality it will still be on -_-
The worst part is that most of the methods that could help even a little will work EXCLUSIVELY if the game is running at 12 DX, because when switching to 11 DX, the game stops reading information from INI files, making them useless. That is, If you ran a test in 11 DX and it didn't improve your FPS, it's best to revert back. Sometimes, a funny situation happens (1 time out of 10), when you need to FORCEDLY enable 12 DX, precisely to boost optimization by editing INI files -_-.
I understand this all sounds like STUPIDITY and CRAP, but these are the facts.
Also, lossless scaling is a paid program (I don't recommend downloading a pirated copy), and I can't say it helps much. OptiScaler (currently version 0.9) can also help. The principle is similar to L.S. You also need to create an ENGINE.ini file and set it to READ-ONLY so the game doesn't delete it in the AppData\Local\Carnal_Instinct_UE5\Saved\Config\Windows folder. In this INI file, you can disable Lumen and other junk. I can provide a (relatively) decent configuration file, but don't expect miracles. I also don't recommend doing anything in the BIOS, especially for just one game -_- ...

In short, here's the contents of my config. You need to create it in the path I specified, add these lines, go to its properties, and check the READ-ONLY box, so the game won't delete the file.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
In short-short О_О, here is essentially the finished file. And I show a TEST of this configuration on 1050ti!!!
By the way, these are medium graphics settings, and without a configuration file my game turns into a TURN-BASED STRATEGY -_-

Played some 2 hours of this game so far.

I'd say this is really good gameplay wise. It literally feels like it was made by a dev who worked on Assassin's Creed Origins or something lmao. Feels like a Ubisoft game world map wise.

The concept is very cool.

However, I have a big, big problem with how lackluster the sexual stuff is. My God...
You can't even control the camera.
No foreplay. It's just a single sex scene and that's it.
No corruption or any narrative justification to do sexual stuff.

3.5/5 is a deserved score.

Games like Wildlife are generally critiqued for having too many sex scenes, too little gameplay. This is the opposite lol. Has gameplay, doesn't have good sex scenes at all. It's too bad really. If they work on the sex parts and improve upon them it would become a really good game.

Do they have a roadmap? Or like did they address these concerns before? I'm new to the game it's my first time playing it.

Actually, there is an explanation in the game lore. The folks of Sabu must have as much sex as possible to avoid Kethra's curse. Else they are doomed.
As one of the NPC says, "Fuck a day keeps the curse at bay!"

Do they have a roadmap?
There is a direct link to their roadmap on the 1st page of this thread (right in the opening post, that is).
Though I'm not sure if it's up-to-date or relevant at all.

Ok so basically there's a lot left to do till the game is feature complete.

Also, it says on the sheet the FREECAM is complete but it's impossible to use it with certain scenes.

Link to roadmap :

I've just finished all the quests, it took me 10-15h to complete everything. All I can say is : yes, there is already a narrative justification. Even more there is a lot of potential with a kind-of faction system that will compete each other. For now there is no blocking point to work with all the factions at the same time. But we can already see that the devs aren't scared of pushing the player to choose the least bad option rather than choosing the best option (in light of our contemporary morality). I mean you can be the white knight saving a cursed region, and at the same time catching innocent people like Pokémon to own them as slaves. I've been genuinely surprised by the way some quests turned out.

UE4 version felt more organic, with way more NPC, the map felt more alive. But quests were a bit drowned under a main point of finding all the sex scenes. With UE5 they've started to develop a real lore to justify sex. Which is, I think, cool. The game now makes sense not just as a sandbox of sex scenes with superb visuals, but as a real game (with superb visuals).
