There's a decent amount of content in game overall as of right now. You'll need about 6-7 hours irl to complete everything the game offers (without making alternative choices or grinding the points to unlock everything).
Afaik until now they've concentrated on the game's basis and foundations, including story which starts away from Wased-Heq's port (where you start in UE4) (I might be wrong on the area name here, I'm bad with Egyptian names, but you get what I mean). Port itself is on the UE5's map already, which probably means that the team have transferred the assets but is currently unreachable. So UE4's quests, locations and characters are not yet in playable game version just yet.
Maybe they will be coming in short future (during this year I presume).
Overall I'd say that as of right now game could be considered to be a very strong vertical slice type. Fairly a lot of content for an indie game that shows how much potential game has. Totally worth playing or re-playing if you haven't tried it in a long time imo.
Island of Tal'Senet seems to be our character's new main base. All side characters and potential lovers will seem to be moving there for our convinience. UE4's camp seemed to be more like a proof of concept or rather developers were trying out mechanics with slight customisations that might or might not be transferred for Tal'Senet.
I wouldn't expect that camp to come back because Tal'Senet seems to be palyer's main base of operations now and will most likely feature UE4's features if developers decide to tinker with them.
I personally hope that it will be just that. I hope that characters like Drake Queen, centaurs and other romancable characters will one way or the other come and join our protagonist there so that player could easily reach them without jumping all across the map in order to see their scenes.
Customisation-wise, I don't expect much tbh.
I'd say that I hope more to see Tal'Senet change as those romancable characters arrive, bringing their own stuff with them, making the island feel alive again, changing its surroudnings to fit their lifestyles too. People living in houses again, market could be restored with a couple of merchants, some cahracters could visit each other to banter about you or something and so on.
This way it would give this hub liveliness and a sense of progression during our adventures.
Been seeing a lot of requests for 100% save file, so here's like a 80%-ish/90%-ish save file for those who just don't want to do quests again. This is just my usual playing save file so it doesn't feature 10 billion points for all cosmetics, just whatever races and their variations I find to be attractive.
Here's my cheat table for 2024-12-22 and 2025-05-08 versions.
Animation speed (moving quickly), stats (mana/stamina/health/etc), character stats (stat/ability points, stat modifiers, gold, essence, lvl), pregnancy pointers, FOV value, NoClip. I didn't come up with anything else, all those pointers are more than enough.
UPDATED FOR 2025-05-08, no new options added (just adjusted the offsets)
UPD2: will update for 2025-10-16 soon
UPD3: will update for v0.6.9 as soon as I have time, if you are willing to pay - I can do it faster.
I'm enjoying the game, the combat is a bit janky bit it's still nice all BUT I just came across quest "Shipwrecked anubites". No matter which parts of the quest I complete, I still can't finish it. It's irking me off... I like to complete games 100% and it's pissing me off. Is there a save file editor or something? Maybe a collection of saves with completed quests? Or is the steam version not as buggy? I'd gladly pay for it if it means maybe still incomplete game but not one where it's impossible to do one nice quest? Starting over is out of the question, I don't have that much free time. I pretty much did everything I could on the first island (except paying for the mount yet and finding the teleport sceptre i.e main quests on that large island to the left. All the side quests there and the "main hub" island are done. The only one half done is romance the barkeeper, but from what I understand I need to level carnal instinct before I can advance beyond just pussy licking).
If I try loading earlier saves, they get bricked in various ways and if I try loading much earlier save, before that quest (and "If it bleeds") then that quest just disappears entirely along with all other quests I finished on that island? I just want to enjoy the game...
Nvidia Control Panel does not have priority over what Windows tells the application to use. Windows always has the "final say". To fix this, go to your "Graphics Settings" (open Start menu, search for "Graphics Settings", it'll be in your Windows Settings page), click "Add desktop app", on the File Explorer window that appears you'll need to navigate to the directory where you have the Carnal Instinct main file. Then, follow this tree:
(Carnal Instinct Root) > Carnal_Instinct_UE5 > Binaries > Win64 and add specifically the file titled "Carnal_Instinct_UE5-Win64-Shipping.exe".
Once you've done this, you'll see "Carnal Instinct" appear in the list back on your Settings page. You can then click the drop-down arrow to expand the management menu and under "GPU preference", select the GPU you prefer to use.
Could you be more specific? The quest is unfinished as long as the anubites are there; you have to report to the captain, talk to the priestess, then possibly to the captain again, and if you have killed the beast you can visit the priestess to make love to her (which requires a cock). After that, the anubites are gone and there's only an empty camp remaining.

I tried by talking to them with only the monster's head, it didn't work. I tried with both the head and ship locations marked down, still couldn't do it. I tried after finishing all 3 objectives and still no progress. In all cases the dialog with the captain didn't allow me to tell him anything (just "leave" after his line) and in all cases the there was no option to start a dialogue with the priestess (she just said her regular overworld line "strangers aren't safe here" or "welcome stranger" when approaching her).
I suspect the quest is permanently bugged across all saves. After loading couple of times, the game started to randomly changes parameters. In one load (autosave right before the crow monster) it loaded with no monster spawning. In some loaded saves after finishing "If it bleeds" it displayed the quest as incomplete and if I went to the cave, the monster didn't spawn. I think something bricked the whole save section. When loading much earlier saves the quest markers for potential quests, like this one or for example Master Baiter, disappeared.
I can see the game has much more to it since I first tried it and it has quite the potential. It's genuinely fun. If the dev has been consistently updating it then I don't mind putting it off for later if there's no fix besides starting anew and hoping the quest won't bug out. Hell I'd pay 50€ easy for non-buggy finished game down the line and just wait for now.

I could not complete that quest in one of the earlier versions of the game. I guess the problem was that I looted the supplies while exploring the area, before taking the quest, and thus messed it up.
And yes, quests in this game indeed get broken way too easily, for whatever reason.
