Ok. This gives me hope. I only beat the first level and didn't see a single animated CG. Too bad that it seems that there is no battle sex in this game though.
I will try to get further into the game, but it is incredibly frustrating to play through.
Are you playing the new game? Tell us more, pls! That bad?
I tried to buy it today, but dlsite doesn't accept debit cards and I don't have any other way to pay for it...

So far, I have only completed the first stage and then quit after I died to the boss at the second stage and had to replay the entire stage.
I think it way went too hard on adapting the old school retro gaming aspects. You only have a limited amount of lives. Once you run out of lives, you restart the entire stage. Almost all of your deaths will be by falling off edges, either by barely missing a jump or by getting hit by an enemy that knocks you back. The enemy placement is incredibly frustrating, e.g. enemies that are placed almost right at the edge so you have to make an almost perfect jump to not accidentally hit the enemy and get knocked down and die from full HP.
The controls are precise, but are like the old retro jank controls where you cannot change direction mid jump. This would not be a problem if the game wasn't so unforgiving with the enemy placement and the respawn mechanic.
Overall, it is an incredibly frustrating experience. It feels as though you are fighting the janky game mechanics rather than fighting the actual enemies.
The game doesn't have a normal save system either. Instead, once you beat a stage you get told a "password" that let's you replay that stage later if you enter that password from the main menu. This means you either have to write down the passwords or take screenshots...
All of this jank, while I saw no animated H-scenes, no combat sex, only 3(? if I remember correctly) slide show H-scene, makes the game feel very disappointing and not worth the frustration. Though the few H-scenes that I saw have been the amazing quality that we're used to from LibraHeart.
I'll still try to play through it again and hopefully reach an animated CG, but having to play an entire stage all over when most deaths are from falling off edges is just not fun...
You can try purchasing DL Points and then use DL Points to purchase games. DLSite has a short guide somewhere on how to buy points for international customers. I bought points through ForBooks following DLSite's link. Buying through ForBook didn't work at first when I tried to pay with just my card, but it worked once I used "shop" to purchase the points.

Okay I've managed to buy it and played a bit, and... here's what I've seen:
-No full screen mode. Only small window or shitty looking stretched window mode. Fucking nice.
-Time limit but no pause menu. Just fucking great. Good luck with playing the whole game in one sit.
-ESC button destroys your progress and sends you back to the main menu.
-No animated h-scenes so far.
Having non animated scenes is more than disappointing, but I kinda can deal with it. The awful game design is beyond my limits, though. I'd say, to me it's not worth playing until (if) the dev fixes this mess...
Regarding the animated h-scenes, on the DLSite description it says (machine translation ofc, so take with a pinch of salt): "If you defeat the monsters that appear in each stage, you might get some naughty revenge?!".
Is there some kind of bestiary you have to fill out to get those scenes? Or beat every single enemy on a stage to unlock them?

Lily has “Hate” score that fills up as she kills some enemies. If it reaches 100%, after completing some rooms, the player will get a special scene and some bonuses. There is one such scene per chapter.

Are those scenes of Lily having sex with the monsters that appear in the stages? Because if so, it's a bit weird to implement it like that instead of the usual battle sex the succubus games are known for.
honestly i'm a big fan of the original Castlevania on NES, so a lot of what i'm hearing about this new game sounds good. although, it does sound weird that there's a time limit...
either way, since some people have it, it would be great to have a thread for it with a link to the game, rather than continuing discussion in this other thread

I think this is an improvement over the GoR scenes in their previous/ most monster girl games. I mean, with those you either win and don't get to see them or lose and are either frustrated or skipping them to maintain the momentum. This way the scenes are a bonus for filling the "Hate" gauge and doesn't break momentum.

Oh, and just a heads up for people that are looking to get it:
The game has no english translation (at least not yet). You can beat the game and get all the porn no problem, you just won't be able to understand the plot of it unless you know japanese or you do an MTL of it, but I don't know how easy that is with the engine this game is made in.
In regards to the new game, and what I was able to figure out on my run of it.
1. Every stage gives Hate for killing the chapter specific enemy type. At 100% passing a specific transition gives the H.
However, game over will reset your Hate, I ended up missing Ch4's H because of rushed water ice platforming.
2. Lose all your lives to see the Password. You also get 3 Continues before a True Game Over.
I only wiped the one time so I never needed to use it, but perhaps this means you can brute force progress.
3. Every Chapter has a Hidden Boss. I assume this is required to progress to some kind of True Ending.
Ch1 = Precise key jump (you can move a ways off a ledge before falling) then a door in the botright in a near-future room.
Ch4 = Topleft breakable wall when you double back across the platforms above you. Progress down this route for the boss.
(I never found the other two, but I can assume theres some weird secret and probably a sinkable sandpit somewhere..)
4. Holding down (Crouch) locks you in place, you won't be knocked back by damage. Or waterflow.
Game is probably unwinnable if you don't know about this.
5. 3 Whip types. To upgrade, just hit things with the whip to get to the lvl2 chain whip, then find a magic orb to gain +1 lvl.
Thus if you die, and you are in a room with lots of torches and one purple orb, break them to get chain before orb use.
Oh, and some orbs are full heals while others are whip upgrades. They looked the same to me so IDK.
I'm gonna try another run of this and see if I can fully figure it out later,
but if someone can figure out the route to the Chapter2 and 3 hidden bosses that would be GREAT.
(I don't want to go killing myself in every suspicious looking corner looking for secrets.)
Oh, and I never tried to open the strange door in Ch5, it coulda killed me and I was kinda burning out from all the nonstop high focus instant death platforming. Yeah all difficulty complaints are valid.
Heres the password I got when I died on stage 4 while platforming my way to the hidden boss fight.

Ch4 boss
A bit tricky, I spammed axes whenever they were vulnerable. Otherwise, you can focus fully on being dodgey,
all of their attacks expect you to position yourself and jump in the right direction at the right moment to evade.
Jumping up from the lower left at the right moment let me avoid rocks, if that helps.
I use a flaming staff against this boss, it is hidden in one of the blocks above the exit from the previous room.
Perhaps someone will be interested. The game has 6 chapters, the final one will be available only if all the previous ones are passed by alternative routes (in 5-05 instead of a set of levels will be a scene with the arcane soldier Alicia from the desert, by the way, it is the same swordswoman, which is available as a playable character in Castle in the Clouds). As I understand it, passwords change if the player misses even one alternate route. But I want to warn everyone that chapter 6 is harder than all the previous chapters combined. So if anyone likes hardcore games, here is the password for Ch 6.
