fmodel has some game specific fixes that avoid mapping issue but its nice to look at with the cost of being very slow. also the go to for editing scripts or properties that can go to json format. umodel is much faster and more reliable for meshes and animations. It no longer gets major updates but you can check the threads to get updated versions with game specific patches which is what really matters. Obviously for most adult shit no one cares enough to make patches but for real games its far from dead
Fmodel is a very trashy project. As it turned out, this game has its own pak file format, which needs to be unpacked with a certain quckbms script. BUT, Fmodel does not see unpacked games (that's a surprise). I was offered to pack the unpacked game myself, but I still haven't figured out the command line. I either got files with 0 bytes or packs in which all the files from the folders were in the root of the archive.

Regarding Umodel which updates splitvoid, I don't understand at all what it does, it's still impossible to even open a skeletal model with animations, it says there is no skeleton, although it even exports with a skeleton. There is also no support for materials, it refers to the fact that umodel does not open some new ue5 archives there, there is also no support for these usmap files, without which it seems you can't do at all now.
