I mention how any outcome would have pissed people off. I understand their anger. But this is discourse: trying to get folks to see other perspectives. Which I'm gonna give up on as you have a very personal bone to pick with this game that I see now ain't no one gonna take from you. You accused it of theft, then defended CK - a game which has stolen so much that other devs have commented on how Arc is "unwelcome in their circles".

You assign labels that you think fit (Going for the oh-so-common Denpa label for LiL, as though it didn't begin with its MC fucking his underage niece after that maybe-minute of reading and choosing "jump") while telling other people that their measuring sticks are just wrong and yours aren't. You do you, chief.

And I don't understand how you are so vehement in your defense of an obviously shitty choice by a dev who had been doing well until now.

And honestly? I don't follow shit so closely as to know what CK and it's dev are disliked for. All i know is that I've enjoyed the game and the story that is being written.

I rarely venture into the comments section of games here, only when I care about a game. The stance on Koikatsu was legitimately something i didn't know, i just went by what's usually the case.

But you do you, keep defending a choice that was absolutely despicable. Maybe some other game off a kid so you can go whiteknight the dev there too.

1. she is brain damaged not mentally ill. A sociopathic serial killer is mentally ill, a child molester is mentally ill, someone who is brain damaged is mentally impaired not mentally ill. This is a case of connotation vs denotation. technically by the dictionary definition she is mentally ill, but the connotation of the term "mentally ill" is quite negative with a focus on the criminally minded.

2. you can choose not to meet him on that, but it does not change the fact that 99% of people will agree that killing a child is worse than killing an adult

and to clarify. I would be very upset if the older sister died too. I am just disagreeing with the claim that a child dying and an adult dying are the same thing

I can't trigger the Maeve event.
I've completed all other content, done all the requisites as far as I can tell but no matter what....no even in the living room at night as called out on her screen. I've gone pretty much everywhere at all times of day, tried talking to her in the garden when she shows up etc. I'm missing something glaringly simple I'm sure. I've been through the big "breaking the seal" episode where Emiko gets killed etc. Maeve's screen said "wait for the storm to cool down..." well two (in game) weeks of wandering around should have cooled off just about anything.

What am I missing (right in front of me probably) y'all?

Sorry to bother you but i cant seem to unlock the event of "love in the dojo" but i did all the rest of izanami events until Tracing the Master, did i do something wrong? can i unlock somehow?

The assets are not stolen. That's just the popular buzz-term for games made using Koi - which is legally purchasable and used for countless games just like this one. There are terms and conditions to it - which are met here - but each character was made by the dev. Not lifted from anyone or anywhere else, just to clarify.

I'm stuck at Step #4 for the Bullet Hell Quest- where I'm supposed to "join the ranks, back to the Guild". I've been able to accomplish everything ELSE, including the MC going postal at the auction house, etc., etc. But the option to go to the Guild (or an automatic event doing such) just hasn't popped up again.

I don't know if this is on purpose or not but an Image not found with text is appearing after the new part with Maeve I don't know if it's supposed to represent a missing memory or if my version just doesn't have an image Remember_Fragment28.

It seems like I'm stuck pretty early in the game. All the signal text says to talk to Asmedia or Herameal, but when I go to them through the portal the only option is to spend time with them. There's no other options and nothing is happening automatically.

I'm gonna go with option 2. There were 4 or 5 events for the MC and a pretty significant one after that for the story in general, as well as 1 for Maeve.

Loving the shonen and seinen elements story telling. I see a decent amount of potential for this one. Caught me off guard with the Especially when you unlock her in the girl tracker. I will be keeping an eye on this one and throw down some money on it when the funds are availible.

shonen has always been an interesting genre, I like it too.

Hell. Look at Corrupted Kingdoms. It's a porn game with a story and a lot of fucking. You don't see them going for cheap twists like this. Or look at Hail Dicktator. Again, a porn game with a story but no cheap twists (even if the latest storyarc is a complete bust).

LiL isn't a porn game. It's a Denpa game. It doesn't pretend to be anything else than a horror game with sexual elements. Hell, the story to fucking ratio of LiL is gigantic compared to CoR. And even Selebus for all his fucked up creativity hasn't gotten to a point of killing off a child for shock value.

The only deaths in CK that I can think of are of the villains. Sure, the whole creepy doll thing is gross, but not the same thing as here.
