Why does it feel like this ui got more clunky... It takes more clicks to get from point A to point B now.
Let's look at the exile main navigation. Is there really a reason to have it hidden?
I could see if one of the girls at random were laying on the bed at various points throughout the day but otherwise if the player wants to move somewhere the click that first. Being able to toggle this would be nicer instead of resetting it as I move around.
Now if I want to go outside I need to scroll over to the far right then click outside. Perhaps a little button next to the Home one that leads outside would alleviate this but as of this update it inserts another click. Could make all the buttons smaller so they fit in one bar and a tool tip for the text hover so you get the big words without so much space being taken up. Just streamlining it so more clicks are needed doesn't really help with
The exile nav is cleaner now
For the bed could you just add an option to go to sleep, call it a day, or something else instead of slowly moving from one time block to the next? If I'm told to come back tomorrow then I'm done for the day and want to skip to tomorrow not oh it's noon, afternoon, evening, and finally midnight which will start the next day. That's a lot of clicks for "sleep to the future". The less aggravation for the player to get a simple task done the better.
As for outside well content was added to Dusk City so time to harp on that.
Unless the teleporter hub gets expanded within the next couple months for a new city then it only joins Exile & Dusk City so there isn't much reason to choose between them as if you clicked on it you want to go to Dusk City and when you leave you want to go to Exile. It might be practical when new locations are added but until then however you could save some trouble by adding a teleporter as an Exile room expansion. Even then a galactic map would appear more impressive.
Is there a good reason to shift the menu buttons from center view to off to the side? Unless the location is doing something interesting it's more inconvenience. Bouncing boobs are pretty but a ghost town is not as it's dead, static, and dull. While I get the feel of roaming through a city it just adds more clicks and it is harder to navigate when half the options are in the center while the other half are off to the side. The menu should make navigation easier not harder. Instead of slowly navigating to the locations take Main Street, it's sub locations are all options unlike go down this street, then this one, I know it's a single point node but you still got to click through it all to finally get to the shop where you can work. Funny thing with Main Street is I went there to jot down my point, seen a really cute girl, then poof back to Exile which if I wanted to go somewhere why teleport me back home? There is a teleport to home button in the top right if I really wanted to go back and if I had any other business in the area well I've got to do the click chain all over again.
That's about it for busting your balls with clicks. How long until the catgirl starts giving licks?
Because besides the ui complaints the content was nice, really wish you would focus more on that instead of redesigning the ui based off focus testing on people that really like the backgrounds but don't understand what the H key does.
