A fun element of writing is choosing the order in which to reveal information to the reader. Sometimes it only matters that somebody did something, or they did not. But sometimes WHY they did or did not do something matters just as much.
Just remember though that though the WHY might matter to the person in question and may make them less unsympathetic, for the other person, at a certain moment only the actions themselves will count, since it is those that impact her/him and not the reason for them.Great post.
