Actually it's pretty interesting. The reason the level of this kind of games is so low is people just ask for sexy 3D models, and is OK about subpar writing. Most of the devs know how to use 3D design programs and create beautiful faces and round asses and tits, but can't write a decent scrip and create good, relatable characters for shit. And for some reason, most of the people is OK with that and gives 5 starts to games that are absolute garbage: MCs that are betas and simps and their only attractive is a magic cock, Lis that in real life would raise all the red flags in the planet, like being lesbians for startes (all Lis are lesbian now, for some reason), plot holes of the size of the moon, the political biases of the dev reflected in the script... This guy is just asking this dev the basic level of writing that would ask to the devs of any other kind of indie game, and I aplaude that. Being an erotic game doesn't mean it has to be garbage.

at the end of the day writing is subjective , if it was just that I don't think his review would come off as weird to me. I just thought him calling all the LI's lesbians and this game having political things in it was weird when I don't see it. Personally I think the romance story is honestly the best ive ever seen in a AVN and is amazing writing. While the plot of the inheritance is boring and subpar. Also everyone treats MC's different anyhow I'm fine with a MC being a simp , beta or Alpha I play disconnected from 99% of MC's so they don't matter to me. I care more about the characters then story.

About the political bias, I was talking in general, not specifically this game.
All the female characters are lesbians by default in most of the games. I suppose the devs think that 'lesbians are hot', so the player won't mind to discover that the Li that he's been romancing actually has a lesbian relationship already. Well, I do, I find it a fucking trap from the dev, pisses me off, and destroys any interest I would have for that specific Li. And obviously, the Lis of this game are lesbians, since they have lesbian sex for years. That thing of 'I have been fucking with my BBF for years, but I'm not lesbian' is just moronic.
The fact that you don't care the MC, when you are playing as the MC, is proof that most MC are badly written. And if they don't know how to write a decent MC (Main Character), how it's possible they can write any other character?
The problem is, there's no actual competition, since the best games out there (BaDIK, Summer's gone, Intertwined, AWAM) are equally garbage in terms of writing. So, even in steam, if you want an erotic game, all you'll find is subpar writing, clichés, awful betas MC with magic cocks, Lis that are only attractive because of their 3D models, not because their personality, political bias and lesbians, lesbians Lis everywhere.

Nah this is more of a me thing than a writing problem. I just play disconnected from MC's in general but I get into all the other characters alot. I'm like this with literally every AVN and AAA / AA video games as well even ones that have really good stories. I just don't get into main characters I never once really found my self caring about a Main character always cared more for the characters around them. Probably from years of playing normal games in general where all I cared about was having fun , the gameplay and what happens next in the story but never making any choices in a story for what made sense for my character but what I thought was fun or min maxing dark / light side points or what have you.
But writing is subjective I personally have a hard time noticing bad writing in 90% of AVN's I play because of how I play in the moment and thinking about the context of what is being said and not ever thinking critically about the writing.

I think this is fairly common and comes down to the player who self-inserts versus the one who does not. It's a very real distinction, is entirely personal, and it's apparently challenging to appease both preferences.
Self-inserters may feel personally betrayed by NTR, are unable (if male) to play female protagonist, and may find incest repulsive.
For instance, as a non-self-inserter, while I find fictional incest to be situationally hot, I am repulsed by the thought of actually engaging in it with real family. It's third-party perspective that makes it work for me. E.g. "I'd never do it, but it's hot when she does it."
Further, self-inserters may rebel when the MC does something they would personally not do, and feel robbed of agency. I remember the devs of this game saying in a livestream that they attempted to thread the needle by doing no POV shots of MC to discourage self-insertion, while leaving the MC non-committal in many situations so self-inserters still weren't told how they should feel in the moment.
Obviously, your mileage may vary.

While I agree that most AVN's are poorly written, (What am I kidding, most of them are rather awful) I've never assumed to be able to find some marvels of literature among them. So what I'm talking about here is a relative scale: take the best written AVN you know and compare others based on the relative scale with that one on top. And put another one on top when you find a better one. Otherwise you'll never be able to find anything good to say about any of them.
Clichés? Sure. Find me an average, relatively good movie without any.
But calling writing bad just because the main characters are "betas" (in your "macho" opinion ) and "all women are lesbians" is rather simplistic. Not to mention, highly-highly subjective, based on very personal dislikes.
Not that other opinions aren't subjective, but the reasonable ones, trying to be at least somewhat objective, are trying to ignore personal dislikes and the people who aren't able to do that, after understanding that the product was created for very different tastes than they happen to have, simply found enough decency inside them not to write a hateful review about beef stakes from a vegan point of view.

It's not that I self-insert in the game and think I'm the MC, but man, is a game, not a movie, a TV show, a comic or a novel. You are controlling the MC, deciding for him. It it were a good game, you should feel immersed in the game. If you are just seeing what happens as if it were a movie, just as an external viewer, you are not actually playing and the dev is not doing his job, that is get the immersion of the player in the game. If those devs are trying to discourage that the player feels immersed in the game, those guys are idiots that should do a movie or a graphic novel, not a game, because they actually don't know what a game is. And that would explain a lot, by the way. I think it happens the same with most of the devs. In other genres, developers try their best to make the players feel immersed in the game, and for a while they feel like WWII soldiers, monster hunters, F1 drivers, survivors of a nuclear holocaust, or whatever, but these idiots devs of erotic games apparently all they want is for the player to watch their story as if it were a movie and I don't know, jerk off to the porn parts... and they don't even know how to write a good story, because they're all complete amateurs at it.

For the record, I was replying to an open post in an open forum that is not only for fanboys of the games, as far as I know.
I'm not talking for the devs, that probably will never read this. I'm talking for the people here that goes to the review sections of the games and give 5 stars to games that are absolute garbage because the don't have the slightest critical sense, or people who don't understand that making a game has different rules than making a visual novel, a comic book or a movie.
If you make a game in which you create an MC, you give the player the ability to control his decisions and destiny, that is, a ROLE GAME, it is logical to expect (and wish) that the players suspend their sense of reality for a while and feel immersed in the game, that is, play it as a ROLE GAME. That is the goal. But according to what you say, the devs of this game have decided that they don't like players to feel immersed in the game and try to make them feel disconnected and see the game as mere spectators. And that's stupid. If they just want to tell a story, they should have done a Visual Novel without choices, not a game in which "The player's choices will determine both how the game ends, and whom he finishes it with." The problem is, they don't know how to tell a story, nod do a game.

yeah I think the actual plot is kind of boring to me. As I recall when I played it I only looked forward to Jaye and Mallory scenes. I only thought the romance story with Jaye and probably Mallory's characters is well done.
