It is not "endings' the main story ending is already there. It's just a prologue; it won't be a gigantic addon. There will be a rework as well for the older content.why not this year that sucks big time

Just gonna enjoy the coming x-mas holidays and then start hoping for the epilogue sometime (hopefully early) next year.
There is actually a poly path where you end up with both Jaye and Mal, but it's not the open relationship path.
If you want tips while trying to be as spoiler free as possible, I posted some earlier. It still contains some spoilers though, so be warned.
It indeed has one of the best story telling aspects with the only drawback of not having good animations.It would have reached to a wider audience if it had good animations.Hopefully they take care of it in their next project Firebreak

Well the game have good animations if you consider the average there is around. For sure there are games that have better but I wouldn't say they are not good or bad. But like fannum said, yes the game have very good art and renders.
The games animations are already pretty good, even great in some places I would say.
As far as story telling, I would say that took a hit in the last couple chapters, just felt rushed, and not as good. The throuple path with Jaye and Mal, I understand and respect the idea, but I feel like the execution was piss poor and not good. Needed more time to flesh out more in my opinion.
So I can't really agree with best story telling after these last few chapters, just felt like they wanted to start Firebreak and didn't give this game proper treatment imo.
