And it should have been shown IMO. Why? Because it would have been hot! Which is important when making an AVN.Indeed and while it's not shown, it's implied that Jaye can't help by swap to do the same.

Common... that's utterly dumb and this isn't your style, is it? You know perfectly well that such a statement makes no sense. When you see letters, you automatically read them. I might as well shout something at you and then say that you didn't have to listen if you didn't like what I said.Don't read it then.
Sure, but Mal absolutely knows how to play and feed Jaye's competitiveness. And honestly Jaye kind of lets her.to be fair that was pretty much all on Mal![]()
Never said they didn't matterLet's not forget that the dev's themselves listed Lisa as having an "ending", when Lisa herself is a sidegirl, same with Amanda. They are listed there alongside Jaye and Mallory. So that disproves that side girls have never mattered in this VN.
The dev could put that under a spoiler. It's only about which girl would have an ending, it's not like the dev tells you what happens in the VN or describes the endings beforehand.Common... that's utterly dumb and this isn't your style, is it? Still, better than Lisa's "ending". I wouldn't mind "just a throuple" with Lisa and Bianca.Amanda doesn't have her own ending though, just a throuple with Mallory.
The didn't matter part wasn't just aimed at you, but more at everyone stating that the game has only ever been about Jaye and Mallory.Never said they didn't matter
Amanda doesn't have her own ending though, just a throuple with Mallory.
Lisa was added a lot later (don't remember if they gave a reason for adding her)
Doesn't tell you jack shit about any besides Jaye and Mallory...Nope. Nobody should get spoiled against their will. Many players don't want to know the end before starting a game. Anyway, when the chapter endings with the Jaye & Mallory status screen and the point bar in the game doesn't gave you the hint, no one can.
That's a pretty big hint that only Jaye and Mallory are main LIs.Doesn't tell you jack shit about any besides Jaye and Mallory...
To be fair, that just says that we'll have the relationship outcome, it doesn't say that the outcome will be a "happy ending where the player and the LI are together", which is what certain people are suggesting has been promised.Let's not forget that the dev's themselves listed Lisa as having an "ending", when Lisa herself is a sidegirl, same with Amanda. That's an interesting interpretation of 'Celibate' if I ever saw oneYou don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Now it's interesting to see what will happen with Badik. There are several times more SG's in there. It's good that their next game will have more than two LIs. I'm sure there will be couple of side girls but I honestly hope the discussion "who gets and ending and who doesn't" won't be as big as it is now.
Irrespective of anything else, I will absolutely be romancing Lisa in Firebreak! (That was nearly "Firebread" for a moment...). I don't get the whole "NTR across games" thing, to be honest.Damn you, MC! I left you with two perfectly fine women, and you still managed to screw up!![]()
So, I played the update. Somehow, the choices from my save weren't recognized by the update, and I was instead offered a selection of outcomes. I used this opportunity to make a Jaye & Mal save for research purposes, then found the bug (a rookie mistake, experienced devs such as these wouldn't make it, pretty sure it was intentional to provide testers with easy access to the selection) and fixed the game to recognize my choices correctly.
I got theSolasSoulsSolus ending.
On Lisa controversy: I think the devs paid her all due respects, effectively making her a MSG of sorts, and I wouldn't say she doesn't have an ending. Her sex scene here is my favourite of her scenes despite no animations. I did get annoyed that her and MC broke up, but I'm inclined to blame the MC for it, not the devs. I won't romance her in Firebreak out of respect for Alex however, but with how many MGs that game's gonna have, I can afford it.
The MC then proceeded to fuck every SG in the game sans Linda (what?! Man, I avoided those chicks!) and eventually ended up in a close friendship with Mallory, contemplating if he should try for more. I didn't see the scene with Jaye's new family someone posted here earlier however, is there a condition for that?
Overall, it was a nice farewell to an awesome game, and to me, Chasing Sunsets is now the best completed AVN. I will play Firebreak of course, as Kentyrr and Stoya are some of the best in the business and the whole theme of developing new tech for the military seems interesting. But before FB's first release, more great stories will follow this one's ending, as many awesome AVNs still await their continuation and conclusion!![]()
No but it is misleading when you see:To be fair, that just says that we'll have the relationship outcome, it doesn't say that the outcome will be a "happy ending where the player and the LI are together", which is what certain people are suggesting has been promised.
which says single path or Lisa path which turned out to be the same...The relationship outcomes for each of the player paths (Single/Jaye/Mallory/Poly/Lisa/Mallory-Amanda Throuple)
No, she doesn't because endings involving main/side girls mean exactly that: the mc with the girl.I wouldn't say she doesn't have an ending.
It's what the devs wrote so...I did get annoyed that her and MC broke up, but I'm inclined to blame the MC for it, not the devs.
Personally, I wouldn't call it NTR. After all, they are not “active LI.” If they were in a relationship with the MC at the end of the story, and another MC “stole them” in another game, then yes, it could be called that. If a character has a past, it gives them a deeper personality. After all, LI in games don't always have to be a virgins.Irrespective of anything else, I will absolutely be romancing Lisa in Firebreak! (That was nearly "Firebread" for a moment...). I don't get the whole "NTR across games" thing, to be honest.
I wouldn't call it NTR, as I wouldn't feel ntr-d as the new MC (who cares what was before he knew her?) while Alex obviously doesn't care anymore, but still, it's like… dating your brother's ex, I guess? I'm too used to thinking of her in a certain way, and I'd rather try new girls than make an effort to change my perception of Lisa, even if I don't think anyone gets ntr-d here.Irrespective of anything else, I will absolutely be romancing Lisa in Firebreak! (That was nearly "Firebread" for a moment...). I don't get the whole "NTR across games" thing, to be honest.
Bad endings exist too, you know. It's just that Lisa doesn't have a good one.No, she doesn't because endings involving main/side girls mean exactly that: the mc with the girl.
It's what the devs wrote so...
I agree that it's better for devs to mention the difference in content for Mg/sg's in advance. For example, simply stating that there will be one ending for SG's and several endings for MG's depending on the player's decisions. No but it is misleading when you see:
which says single path or Lisa path which turned out to be the same...
