That was actually a bug for Mallory that got fixed (I think, there was mention of a bug that affected 2 points for Mal). But for me, her point requirement was waaay easier to meet than Jaye's for poly.

Oh, I see. But yes, I agree that even if the requirements are reduced by 2, that would already be good.

Hey take it easy, he's already getting sloppy seconds. :ROFLMAO: Kidding! He's enough of a man for Lisa to give up her work/make time for this time at least. ;)
One thing is for certain, the Firebreak girls will be absolute knockouts, Kentyrr really does some amazing work with the renders.

Well, I've played Chapter 10. No sugar coating it, that may be the worst AVN ending I have ever seen. Admittedly, I was stuck with the solo ending because there was no plan to account for someone on Mallory's path not having sex with her after Amanda's stunt; I had to pick an ending after the code couldn't make sense of my variables. The game clearly had no interest in fleshing out the "wrong" paths, so the process was uninteresting and choppy. But that's still no excuse for making the solo path an advertisement for the *real* endings with Jaye, to say nothing of the wretched excuse for a resolution to the legal case. This was BAD, much worse than it had any right to be after all the time spent tinkering with it.

I was planning to try the Jaye and Mallory paths afterwards just to see what difference it made when the developers were trying, but given my virulent reaction to the story I think I'm going to call it here. This game had enormous potential, but only the artwork ever realized it. The gameplay was incredibly poorly coded, the story was clearly regarded as gibberish despite the time spent on it in the early game, and the characters turn out not to have much dramatic range.

tl;dr A complete waste of time and potential, at least if you don't accept Jaye as the MC's one true pair. These devs should be capable of so much more.

What a ride! I'm so sad that the game is over but I'm glad we got some finished epilogues. The Mallory/Amanda one was a disappointment, though, because it's basically just the Mallory ending with an Amanda sex scene. The Jaye solo ending was surprisingly the most satisfying, especially since I was most gung-ho about a throuple with Jaye and Mallory.

Also, why are the same kids born no matter the couple configuration? Is it supposed to be that it's destiny that there's another generation of incest babies that are being raised?

Bummer. There was an update on Steam today for CS, but it wasn't the Epilogue. I was very, very confused for a while.

Finished the update. I have to say it was a bit of an underwhelming experience because of how similar the endings were like they were just mostly the same scenes with character swapping in them. Also the lack of animations on the lewd scenes were very disappointing after how good they were in the last update.

All the negatives aside, I'm glad we finally got an ending. Overall it was a great VN with a solid 8 rating in my eyes. Can't wait to see the devs next project in 2026.

Hmm, I got my update yesterday on Steam. It's literally over 24 hours online there right now. Close your Steam client and start it up again. You should get the update.

I got the update maybe a couple hours later than some here on steam, but definitely not this late

Very strange. As I said, there was a small update but my game ends after Mal reveals all on TV and the CEO of Pfizer is arrested. I assume that's the end of Chapter 9. I even verified the files.
I'll try again later to see if the update is there.

Speaking for myself, you overstate the problems, but you aren't wrong. Some of the things you objected to I didn't--the resolution of the legal case was okay for me, though not wonderful. But other things disappointed me. I went through it on the "neither of them" path just hoping for a scene with Ricky, but didn't get one; that was a little sad.

But the main thing is the emotional payoff, or lack thereof. I loved this game a great deal all the way through, so I felt let down. The big thing (for me) was that the Mal and Jaye path turned out to be--the Jaye path. After setting things up for the threesome, in the end we see no sexual, and, even more, no emotional connection between MC and Mal, or MC and Jaye and Mal which would have been ever better. She's a friend of the family, and that's it. Unless I missed some clues somewhere, that is not what we were promised with the Mal and Jaye path. It's a good game, but he didn't stick the landing.

I deleted the game and downloaded it again, 8.3 GB on Linux. Same thing.
But my saves look weird, few will open without getting a traceback (I could swear they are without any mods, but it's been awhile so...)
Guess I'll have to play from the start at some point, but I'll probably wait for the reworked prologue and Ch1.
