I always get an error when I click the link. I'm using Firefox. The server at attachments.f95zone.to is taking too long to respond.

Sorry, was just fooling around with the response. With all seriousness, lots of the f95 servers are fully down, so that might be why it doesn't work for you.

Seems that it is an problem with European servers, how we found out in another thread.

earlier this week when there were similar issues I used a japanese vpn, worked for me

I like this game so far very much, and I doubt it will change. (I don't know how far or how much content I have left, but I hope I still have much ahead.)
It was worth waiting for the final complete version before I started this journey.
I like the story so far. The quality of the scenes and models is also damn good.
Both Mallory and Jaye are awesome characters love them both, but still Jaye is my absolute favorite, and the animations so far are also so good man.
I am already looking forward to the next game. It's just sad to know that I have to wait so damn long again until it's complete or near completion since I'm simply not a fan of always waiting so long between updates and getting thrown out of the "flow" (but I mentioned this so many times already here on F95)

Seems like most people swear by Jaye but I just can't join them for the life of me. I know preferences and all that, and I much prefer Mal. I just feel like I'm the oddball and want to know what I'm missing here. Maybe because my brother instincts kick in but the game does an okay job with taming that instinct and justifying the relationship. That's not the point anyway. What is it about Jaye, sibling or not, that makes you choose her over Mal? That's my main question.

Just playing through the early part of the game and seeing the relationship develop between Alex and Jaye makes it difficult for me to consider romancing anyone else (other than my desire to see all routes). On top of that, I find her to be the most attractive LI in the game, although Lisa, Bianca, and Tara come close.

Jaye is just one of the best written characters in about 200 (99% completed) AVNs, top 3 if not top 2 for me. She is simply wholesome and the relationship dynamic between her and MC is perfectly written too.
About the "most people swear by Jaye" part...
Steam achievements:
Game over (where MC tries to let Jaye die during the storm) - 17.5% of players
Manifest Destiny (where MC ends up with Jaye at the end of Chapter 9) - 8.9% of players
Quite shocking.
An event that happens early in the game vs an event that happens late in the game.

This is sort of the opposite of me. I love redheads and upon seeing Jaye for the first time I thought I'd be going for her route first. But her attitude toward the MC in the beginning really soured me on her early. Then Mal came into the picture and she was both beautiful and charming right from their first meeting.
I did eventually warm up toward Jaye and ended up liking her quite a bit, only a tiny bit less than Mal overall. But wouldn't say I liked her in the early parts of this game at all.

That's true but it's still shocking in a game that is mostly about Jaye and her relationship with MC, since almost 30% of players actually completed Chapter 9.
21% got the "Pro tip" achievement for helping Lisa overcome her past. 18.7% got the "Clutch save", that's for helping Jaye with her college issue, both of these are in Chapter 9 too.

Yes this is true for the good and for the bad, Jaye is very well written and the dynamic between her and the MC is powerful, but on an extreme example, there is some very well written villains around and even though I guess many more will still cheer for the hero even if has less depth than the antagonist.
I'm with darkcaptainfighter, even though the former is true I enjoyed more the fresh relationship and dynamic between the MC and Mal, so no you are not an oddball and you are not alone in your preference for sure but yes I believe that probably there is more Jaye fans than Mallory's and it is understandable.
On the players choice statistics your signature is the best answer
Facts don't care about (our) feelings, and as former scientist student and later/now Quality technicien I rely a lot on facts and statistics/probabilities so I also "follow" (not blindly) that motto.If I wasn't that kind of player that plays almost every path possible, and I did play all the 4 main paths and the alone path (later after chapter 9 was released), probably I only would play the solo Mallory path that was my main playthrough all the way (but wouldn't play the game over) when I replayed all the paths after the release of chapter 9 misleading conclusion of Jaye and Mallory open relationships that didn't gone the way I thought it would and at the time it was my only playthrough. Got pretty pissed at the time but the game is so well written I decided to start a new main playthrough focusing on Mallory that at the time already was my favorite. I used the former main playthrough to dump both and go the alone path hahaha.
Side note : sorry about the last paragraph, English isn't my first language and had troubles to put my train of thought into words, after read it, it seems confusing even for me
