I was already prepared for the "excellent" ending but imagine someone, unfamiliar with the dev's sadistic nature, start playing this game completely blind, get all giddy that there's finally a nice relationship developing with an awesome girl:

Also, you mean to tell me this is the same person who happily settles down and gets several children on Jaye's and Mallory's paths? Was he replaced by a clone or robot? I mean it'd be totally plausible given the game's themes but we were never shown the switch.


Anyways, does anyone know what the story is behind every single woman having muscular midriffs that could even make professional fitness competitors jealous? I see it even carries onto SFS' next game. It seems to be visual artist's obsession or maybe they're allergic to other body types. A bit of a shame though as I like variety.

Firebreak Dev Update #3

It's already devlog time again!

Hopefully seeing updates from us twice a week feels like an improvement over our introverted approach to updates before.

As the year begins to wind down, we are beginning to see the chapter coming together.

Kent continues to churn out art at a prolific rate with nearly 700 renders complete.

Sound and music selection has also made small, but concrete steps in the right direction.

The flow of the initial chapter is feeling very good to me at the moment, and is doing a good job of peeling the story onion without giving away too much about what lies at the center.

General chapter progress aside, the last week has really focused on tool refinement, and even some education.

While we started with no experience in development, and we've certainly gained knowledge through the School of Hard Knocks, some things benefit from a more focused learning regimen, and as such I've been immersing myself in formalized Python training while using what little downtime I have to understanding model development.

Hopefully these skills will allow me to do some things I simply lacked the knowledge to do in Chasing Sunsets.

While development is moving forward full bore, this is also the time of year when family obligations compete for our attention, but as always we'll both do our best to not let that impact our tempo.

We're approaching a year into DAZ 2025, and the tool is still not functional enough for Kentyrr to create art on, even if I'm using it to render without issues. This means he's still running older GPU's until those shortfalls are addressed.

As winter approaches in the northern hemisphere, we at Stone Fox wish you truly blessed holidays. Early in the new year, we should be able to start forecasting a launch date for what we've been working on. We think it will have been worth the wait, and hope that when the time comes, you agree!

Thx for the ping! I haven't been checking out this thread almost at all. Is that Firebreak preview or a custom render?

I love the hair! That's more fitting of Tara than that awful undercut. But she looks a bit off. Was that made by Kentyrr??

EDIT: Ok just skimmed through a few pages. Somehow these models and renders look way below standard for an artist like Kentyrr. Hoping those aren't quite the finished product.

I'm Still hoping they add Bianca. She is too amazing and perfect. I just want to give her the happy ending she deserves. I want to create a family with her and all the cuddles in the world.

Fuck finally I see someone with my same opinion here reg. Bianca. I was sooo disappointed that I couldn't get an ending with her. I even posted about sometime ago that MC leaves her at the end but is because she wanted a child and he doesn't but in other endings he ends up with several children nevertheless Hope to have her again in the sequel somehow.

Yeah. I know, I seen this. But being in Firebreak and being a full Main LI in Firebreak is different.

I want her to be full main girl, otherwise I rather they not waste my time and bring her over for just a little fun. So I want confirmation she is a main LI otherwise I will be letdown.

I suppose you should unblock 3d option of competing with sister. For this i think you shouldn't have high love/trust scores with her and for this i should replay from at least 2nd episode but i'm lazy and it wont 100% work so i dropped it. There are another 40 achievements remain hidden locked and problem with Mal+sis duo ending (think i shouldn't have banged every side girl earlier)

Yeah, I think you're supposed to not cooperate with Jaye to get those Lisa scenes. I feel like she gives preferential treatment to Jaye, like a sister, if you will. After the bathroom incident, Lisa puts a barrier up that stays in place until you make sure things are not serious with Jaye. But honestly, those scenes aren't worth to disrupt the storyline. There are better ones with Lisa going forward.
